⚽️ Developing the Next Generation of Young Footballers in Leyland ⚽️

Spaces for Reception and Year 1 children for 2026-27 Season

Our Wellfield football course for children aged 4.5–6 years is designed for young players who are ready to take the next step in their football development.

These sessions move beyond basic play and focus on core football fundamentals, helping children build the skills, confidence and understanding needed to progress into junior grassroots football teams.

At this age, our coaching focuses on:
Ball mastery, dribbling and control
Passing, receiving and shooting technique
Movement, decision-making and game awareness
Confidence on the ball and playing as part of a team
Preparing players for the transition into junior football

Sessions are delivered by experienced coaches in a structured but supportive environment, giving children the foundations they need to progress — whether that’s into our own junior teams or local grassroots clubs.
