The Lads Go Top!
Fantastic result from the lads tonight beating the Blues 4-0 on the pitch and 7-4 off the pitch!
All very much to play for going into the last game of the season, where Chunky Canaries will face a very physical River Plate of Chips (Blacks)
The title is in our hands!
Special mention to our Defender Gaz on hitting his 5% weight loss target and our number 2 keeper / midfielder who last week hit his 15% target! Keep up the great work lads!

We’re the Chunky Canaries – a football team from the MANvFAT Preston league. Follow our journey as we shed the LBs, and also raise some £s for our chosen charity Derian House.
Never heard of MANvFAT before? It’s a national weight-loss program for men with a BMI above 27.5. Players join a team for their local league, playing weekly games in league and cup 6-a-side competitions, while earning bonus goals for their weight loss progress. We’re the yellow team in the Preston league and we wanted to make a page to share our exploits on and off the pitch. We’ve developed an amazing team bond and already lost a fair amount of weight, but there’s a long way to go!
Plus, we want to start using our team spirit to benefit others, so look out for our future sponsored events where we work together to raise money for Derian House Children’s Hospice.
