Absolutely love getting these reviews from my clients. Small changes make big differences. Thank you Sarah, absolute pleasure working with you and seeing the amazing progress you have made.
Not the most flattering photos 🤣 it’s a good job Caroline is a better PT than a photographer!
These photos were taken today on week 6 of 2 PT sessions a week. I honestly can’t tell you the difference Caroline has made to my back/shoulder movement and strength. Caroline has made me much more aware of my posture and how to do exercises properly, so I feel I get more out of the classes I do at Tribe.
Caroline writes down your range of movement and weight you use each week so you can track your progress. She also explains the science behind each movement and the benefits of tweaking your posture slightly, not in a boring way, today I learnt why I have to move my rear view mirror every morning 🤣 every day is a school day!
I highly recommend anyone to get in touch with Caroline to discuss what you would like to achieve with PT sessions, I’m honestly so shocked with my progress I never thought I’d have the range of movement I have now.
Thank you so much Caroline 🙏🏻

What is Strength training and how is it different from the group sessions that you may already attend?
This is a question that I get asked alot so here is my answer.
In order to "get stronger" we have to put a muscle group under significant duress to cause the muscle fibres to tear. The fibres then need time to heal for them to develop scar tissue, this scar tissue is the basis of building lean muscle.
Micro tears within the muscle are caused by controlled, progressive overload of specific muscle groups. This action is only created by repetitive movement performed at a controlled paced with continuous monitoring of your ability to either regularly increase the weight or reps being performed.
We only have a limited amount of energy to expell in any given one training session. If multiple exercises using all our muscle groups are performed in one session, along with the possibility of throwing cardio based exercises into the mix, then you can't be expected to perform at the top end of your "strength range" so the muscle fibre never end up tearing thus the process of building lean muscle is limited.
This being said, the group sessions are an excellent basis for building cardio fitness and muscle endurance both very different than building muscle through strength training.
If you would like to take a different approach to your workout regimn and add in some Strength based training to your group sessions then I would love to hear from you.

Following Kelly Lam achievement with her training with me, this is HER story.
I injured my ‘shoulder’ about 8 years ago and it has caused me issues on and off over the years.
I found this to be manageable, with regular deep tissue massage. However, I now realise, I’ve only ever been managing the symptoms
As lockdown showed me, when I wasn’t able to access my treatments, my symptoms were the worst they’ve ever been and Lyn urged me to take a rehab course with Caroline.
I was sceptical of course, after all, I had already seen a chiropractor, an NHS physio and a private physio and had resigned myself to a lifetime of merely being able to manage the symptoms.
However, I was also fed up, and willing to try anything – so I met with Caroline and signed up with her for a 6 week rehab course.
Within about 10 minutes of our first session, Caroline advised that she did not think I had a shoulder problem at all, but an upper back problem as there was no movement (even though it felt like there was haha!) and the pain in my shoulder was likely to be referred pain.
Still sceptical, but ok, Caroline designed exercises to increase mobility & strength in the upper back.
We got started and I was weak, it will stick with me forever! Trying to push 5kg and not being able to do it and Caroline telling me it was as light as it goes…. It felt at that moment 100kg
The weeks went on, and my mobility & strength increased and my passion for weight training began!
I am no longer a sceptic, I have a range of movement in upper back and my SHOULDER has NEVER hurt again!
Caroline is so knowledgeable about the body and pushes you to your limit.
I have learnt a lot over the past year with Caroline and feel great (and I look better to boot!)
To sum up, I have gone from crying (literally) at 5kg, to deadlifting 100kg and I blooming love every second of it.
I would definitely recommend Caroline if you are struggling to get back into fitness or have an injury.
I would also recommend Caroline if you've been thinking about weightlifting, but have been daunted by the prospect of this of not knowing where to start, she is a fountain of knowledge and it's not just for the blokes!
Thank you so much Kelly for your story, I am so happy to have met you and helped you become strong and pain free. Your story is so inspiring and I absolutely love every session I spend training you and seeing the progression you make 🤩
