North Lancs and Fylde Ladies

What an incredible effort from the North Lancs and Fylde ladies today. It all went down to the wire, losing by one point was tough!
However, what a great match played in great spirits and full support for every player!
We will take the lessons and come back stronger next year!

The last event of the season for the NL&F ladies is the club championship, held on Saturday 22nd of August 2026. We are taking entries of ladies teams to compete against other ladies team.

The winning team will represent NL&F at the beginning of next year in the BCGBA ladies team Championship.

All ladies in the team must be a member of the same club, the team doesn’t not have to play in a ladies only league and the team must have a min of 8 players max 12.

Yesterday was the North Lancs and Fylde Ladies Presidents Day. This year’s President was Kath Waltkinson, the sun came out on her special day and what a wonderful day it was. Bretherton Bowling club was a challenge to most players but as each round went on the players displayed some top bowling, which keep the large crowd entertained!

The final was between Debbie Watters and Sarah Edmondson. Many congratulations to Debbie, who was triumphant and takes the title for 2026.

We liked to thank Bretherton bowling club, for looking after the player and kept them well feed and watered!
