Thank you to Preston Pride, Blackpool, Blackburn and Lancaster Lions for making it a fantastic maiden tournament. Congratulations to champions Blackpool and Tournament MVP Christopher Pangan who we hope will return to defend their crown next Summer.
The tournament couldn't exist without the hard work of the volunteers and staff. Special thanks go to Head Official Dave Mann, referee Harry Dunsmuir, table official Lydia Delve and the support of the Lancashire Basketball Association to assist with training the officials throughout the tournament. We hope everyone enjoys their Summer and hope to see you all next year.

Round 5 Results
----------------------
Blackburn 68 - 69 Lancaster Lions
Preston Pride 66 - 71 Blackpool
The first game of the evening saw Lancaster Lions provide a tremendous 2nd half effort, overturning a 23-9 first quarter deficit to just hold on to a 1 point victory against a spirited Blackburn side. MVP goes to Cain Strong who had an incredible game scoring 24 points including 3 from 8 from downtown, contributing 6 rebounds on the defensive end.
The second game was down to Preston Pride to stop Blackpool from winning the first PSBL in round 5. Preston led for most of the game but Blackpool hung in there and had too much firepower in the 4th quarter with the national league standard players taking control of the game. Fresh from coaching in Europe this Summer Mark Rangeley took the MVP with a 30 point and 7 rebound showing, hitting 2 consecutive clutch 3s in the 4th to start Blackpool's momentum.
Blackpool will collect the inaugural PSBL trophy in the final game week next week with Preston and Lancaster shooting out for the silver medals in the later game.
