A huge thank you to former Ladies European Tour winner and Solheim Cup player Lora Fairclough Golf for bringing Karl Morris and The Mind Factor to Ashton & Lea for such an insightful day.

A brilliant opportunity for the golfers who attended to explore the mental side of the game, with plenty of lightbulb moments along the way!

We were delighted to host Lora, Karl and everyone who joined them for what sounds like a fantastic day. 👏⛳️

Going into the final day of the AIG Women’s Open today, we’re incredibly proud that members of Ashton & Lea Golf Club have been volunteering all week as marshals on Hole 14. ⛳💙

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲! ⛳

From an empty space to our brand-new 2-bay TrackMan Simulator facility, the transformation at Ashton & Lea Golf Club is complete — and the finished space looks incredible!

The build is now complete. Opening details, booking arrangements and pricing will be shared soon.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us on Sunday for a fantastic day of live sport, food, drinks and great company. 🍺🍔

The club had a real summer feel throughout the day, with breakfast in the morning, our fantastic outdoor BBQ, half-price beer, background music and our interactive magician all helping to create a brilliant atmosphere.

It was lovely to see members, friends and families relaxing outside, enjoying the sunshine, making the most of the BBQ and soaking up the occasion.

There was also plenty of excitement around our brand-new TrackMan bays, with members getting the chance to have a look, try them out and enjoy free “give it a go” style sessions throughout the day. The fun nearest the pin challenge brought out plenty of friendly rivalry and gave everyone a taste of just how impressive the new facility is going to be. Congratulations to Steven Helm, who was crowned winner of the challenge on the day! 🏆

The sporting drama on the big screens certainly did not disappoint either.

Those watching The Open were treated to a thrilling finish, with Ryan Fox holing that final putt to secure the trophy and claim a memorable victory. ⛳

Then, for those who stayed on into the evening, the excitement continued with the World Cup Final, as Spain went on to win in extra time and bring a brilliant day of sport to a dramatic close. ⚽️

Days like this are exactly what the club is all about — members, friends and families coming together, enjoying the clubhouse, supporting our events and making the most of everything we have to offer.

A big thank you to everyone who helped organise the day, our catering team, bar team, entertainers and all those who came along and supported the event.

Following the hottest day of the year on Friday, a welcome breeze made conditions much more pleasant for Saturday’s President’s Day for Ladies.

The conditions certainly suited Paula Ridd, who produced a magnificent nett score of 65 to secure the overall title! 👏
