Hi all... We’re excited to share that Kidz 4 Kidz will be continuing in September ❤️

Rehearsals from September will move to Wednesdays from 5–7pm, still at the school.

And instead of cabaret style, its going to be a musical.

This will give us an idea of numbers so we can choose the musical.

So as as you all know, All Stars is our 25th year show. As we reflected on what Kidz 4 Kidz has meant to so many of us over the years, we realised something unexpected... we didn’t quite know what we would do without it.

So instead of asking ourselves whether Kidz 4 Kidz should continue, we started asking ourselves how we could make it work.

While All Stars this July will still be a huge celebration of everything Kidz 4 Kidz has achieved over the past 25 years, it will no longer be the end.

So as mentioned above, there are going to be some changes to make it more sustainable and ensure it works for the volunteers who give up their time each week.

We completely understand that weekday commitments may mean some current cast members may be unable to continue.

More details will follow soon, but for now we wanted to let everyone know that Kidz 4 Kidz is continuing albeit a b little different and we can’t wait to begin this next chapter together.

6 years ago Kidz 4 Kidz bought this Hippocampe beach and camping wheelchair for Elliot, who has now outgrown it.
It still has a lot of life left in it and is great for rougher terrains. Does anybody know of anyone who might benefit from being gifted this chair? xx

Kidz 4 Kidz – 25 years of helping others through community theatre

Hi everyone!

Get ready for fun, challenges, and a whole lot of laughs 😄💪

As you may already know, for our final show, we are fundraising for an outdoor learning area for the children at St Augustine’s Primary School in Preston City Centre!

Our committee members who are aged between 18-30 are going to be taking part in challenges that you choose💭

❗️To give your suggestions, please send a donation on the Just Giving page, and write a message with your idea.
Each time we reach a £50 milestone, a suggestion will be chosen from a wheel, and the video of the challenge will soon follow.❗️

Ideas could include:

Thank you to everyone who has lent us their K4K shows so far, it’s been brilliant looking back through so many past shows 💛

Out of 56 shows to convert, we’ve managed to do 44 so far… nearly there people! 🙌

The ones that are left on the list are:

If anyone has a copy of any of the above that we could borrow, we’d really appreciate it.

We’ve also tried to digitalise A Walk Through The West End – Act 2, and The 80s Show - Act 2, but haven’t managed to get clean copies yet. Not sure if it’s the type of disc or the way they were burned 🤷‍♂️🤣. If anyone has another copy of them for us to try that’d be great! Weirdly different copies have worked better for some shows x
