A great first session with Dan & Ryan today on our Level 3 PT course.

They both applied themselves incredibly well, got stuck in & made some great progress.

We're already looking forward to next week with them 💪

We covered -

- What makes a great PT
- What we need to know about our clients
- RAMP warm-ups
- 7 Fundamental movement patterns
- The NAMSET coaching model

P.s. Lots of coffee was consumed too ☕️

The fitness industry is noisy.

Quick online courses.
Weekend qualifications.
“Become a PT in 4 weeks.”

Here’s the truth.

This is a real career.

And real careers require proper foundations.

I’ve (Dale) been in this industry over 16 years.

I’ve seen the trainers who last.

And the ones who disappear.

The difference?

Preparation.
Mentorship.
Hands-on experience.
Standards.

We keep our groups small for a reason.

We want to produce coaches
who actually know what they’re doing.

If you want a certificate,
there are cheaper options.

If you want competence,
March 21st.

Message us directly for the info.

“Can you actually make money as a PT?”

Yes.

But not by treating it like a hobby.

The real question is:

Are you willing to treat it like a career?

This industry is full of:

– Underqualified online coaches
– Quick-fix clowns
– PT's who quit after 6 months

We don’t just teach you how to train.

We teach you:

– How to coach properly
– How to build confidence
– How to handle clients a.k.a 'real' people
– What the reality of the industry actually looks like from a PT standpoint

And for those who want ongoing support,
that’s exactly why PT ProPath exists.

If you want freedom,
control of your time,
and to build something of your own…

March 21st is your starting line.

Drop “CAREER” below or in our DM's.

“I’m not confident enough to be a PT.”

Good.

Because overconfident beginners are usually the worst coaches.

The best coaches?

They care.
They question themselves.
They want to do it properly.

Confidence is built.

It’s built through:

– Practicing sessions
– Making mistakes safely
– Getting corrected
– Doing it again

That’s why we spend 40+ hours on a real gym floor.

By the time you qualify,
you won’t feel like an imposter.

You’ll feel capable.

No one starts this course polished.

They leave different.

If you’ve been waiting to “feel ready”…

This is your sign.

We start March 21st.

Comment or DM us “CONFIDENCE” and I’ll send you the details.

26/02/2026

“What if I fail the course?”

This is the one people don’t say out loud.

But it’s there.

Let me tell you something honestly…

People don’t 'fail' the course.

They fail themselves before they even start.

They talk themselves out of it.
They convince themselves they’re not ready.
They wait until they feel “more confident.”

Stuck in a job they hate.

Confidence doesn’t come before action.

It comes after repetition.

At DoTheWork Academy:

– You practice before assessment (a lot)
– You get feedback before grading
– You’re supported, not judged
– You’re coached, not left alone

We don’t throw you into an exam and hope for the best.

We prepare you properly.

If you’re willing to put the work in, or shall we say
then we’ll make sure you’re ready.

March 21st.

If fear is the only thing stopping you,
message us “START”.

P.s. You cannot 'fail' this course, it's pass or refer, which means we'll work with you until are in a position to pass, meaning that the only consideration here, is if you're willing to

You can qualify as a PT online.

In 6–8 weeks.
From your bedroom.
With multiple choice exams.

And for some people, that’s enough.

But here’s the question nobody asks…

When a real client stands in front of you on day one…

Will you actually feel ready?

Because there’s a difference between:

📚 Knowing the theory
and
🏋🏻♂️ Coaching a human being

There’s a difference between:

Passing an exam
and
Correcting a deadlift under pressure

There’s a difference between:

Watching a video
and
Delivering a session on a real gym floor

At DoTheWork Academy, we don’t just get you through the qualification.

You spend 40+ hours practicing.

On a real gym floor.
With real people.
With tutors who’ve been doing this for 15+ years.

As Lucy (a previous student) said:

“I could have done a simple online course… but it wouldn’t have given me the opportunity to learn from people who’ve been doing it for a long time.”

That’s the difference.

Confidence doesn’t come from clicking through slides.

It comes from repetition.
Feedback.
Practice.

Our next course starts March 21st.

If you want to feel properly ready when you qualify, not just certified...

Drop “PT” below or send us a message and we’ll send you the details.

We haven’t posted about the Academy for a few weeks…

But we can now confirm:

Our next Level 3 Personal Training Diploma starts Saturday March 21st.

And this isn’t an online course you rush through in your bedroom.

This is:

• 40+ hours on a real gym floor
• Real coaching practice
• Real 'live' feedback

Between Dale & Toby, they have 25+ years of experience in the industry.

They’ve seen the difference between:

Online certificate trainers
vs
Coaches who have actually been taught on a gym floor.

They've even seen newly qualified coaches who hugely regret opting for an online only course, asking in Facebook groups about how they can get in-person experience because they don't feel 'ready'.

So if you don't want that, and you do want:
– Confidence
– Proper hands-on experience
– Tutors who have been doing this for years (and are still doing it)
– To feel ready on day one

Then March 21st is your date.

Spots are limited because we keep the groups small.

Comment or DM us “MARCH” and we’ll send the details over.

We'd love to support you on your journey into the fitness industry with real in-person coaching.

Today we congratulate Lauren who received her certificate yesterday and is now officially a 'Level 3 Qualified Personal Trainer' 💪

We worked with Lauren on a one to one basis over the last few months and we were particularly impressed with Lauren's commitment and level of detail in her theory/booklet work.

We wish Lauren the best of luck as she moves quickly into working as a PT in DND Gym, Fleetwood.

Give her a follow on her new PT account .here.she.is

Congratulations to Carter on passing his Level 3 PT Course last month.

It was a pleasure to work with Carter on the course last year & we're looking forward to watching his journey in the near future.

Carter enjoys powerlifting style training, so of course he loved the time spent on squats, deads & bench press 🤣💪

A huge congratulations to Lucy who at the beginning of 2026 officially qualified as a Personal Trainer.

Lucy has been on a hell of a journey herself who, as a Mum of two, lost 6 stone and has now not only transformed herself physically & emotionally but she has now stepped into the fitness industry to help people achieve exactly what she did.

Lucy is working with us out of .hq and is enjoying working with her clients in her first month or so of coaching.

We're delighted for Lucy and also looking forward to helping her grow her business at DoTheWorkHQ too.

Our next course is set to launch in March, official date coming soon.

If you're interested in becoming a PT yourself, simple comment below 'PT' and we'll be in touch with the info about our course.

We'd like to congratulate our student Michelle for completing her Level 3 Diploma in Personal Training course with us.

Michelle passed her course last month and is looking forward to developing her experience working with clients.

Michelle still currently works full-time and has longer term aspirations to help clients who don't have access or the ability to get to typical gym environments, she really is looking to meet her clients where they're at.

We thank Michelle for trust us as part of her journey and wish her the best of luck in the future!
