We have some micro ferrets in need of a new home, if anyone is interested please message me. They are fully weaned and ready to go now.

Tonight is the last night of our pub quiz tour. Its probably one of the most unusual jobs we have done but it has also been one of the most fun. Tonight we are up in Thornton Clevelys at the Marsh Mill tavern, the quiz starts at 8.30 but we will be up before then to give people a chance to have a hold of one of our birds or even have a photo taken. If you are fancying a meal out and to do something different pop up and see us.

Well we are now on day 3 of our 4 late nights, we all appear to be holding up pretty well. We are hoping that the rain this morning is not an indicator of things to come later today. The past 2 nights have been great fun, we have met some lovely people, eaten some fabulous food and indulged in some exceedingly large desserts. Big thanks to Platform 5 at Cheadle Hulme and The Stonemill at Warrington. Can't wait to meet everyone at The Waters edge tonight at Lytham

Today is the start of 4 days of late nights. Platform 5 at Cheadle Hulme, The Stonemill at Warrington, The Watersedge at Lytham and finally The Marshmill Tavern at Thornton Clevelys are all holding pub quizzes and our birds are one of the rounds. Pop in if you can, have some food, enjoy a drink and join in probably the best pub quiz in the north west

New members of the owls of athena are now settled into their new homes. 4 Ferrets, 2 males named Dougle and Dillion and 2 females named Brian and Ermintrude. The older ones amongst us should be able to guess the theme.

It's a busy Morning. Dave is loading the birds and equipment, Jack is preparing food and I will shortly be collecting the rest of the stuff together. St. Catherines Yellow ribbon Garden Fete starts at 12 today, there is plenty of parking and plenty of stalls, including us. Come down, say hello and spend a bit of money and have a fun afternoon.

15th June is fathers day it is also St Catherine's Hospice Yellow Day Garden Fete. The Owls of Athena will be there, giving you a chance to hold the birds or even have a photo with your favourite. Come and help us raise money for this worthwhile cause. The more money we make the more money we can donate.

Exhausted! Sunburnt! but happy. A lovely day was had by all members of The Owls of Athena at Rock and River, entertaining Beaver, Cub and Scout leaders. Bernard performed at his usual high standard and Akela did pretty good as well. I can't wait for the photos to appear on here, I've been told there are some good ones of them in flight.
