Team update:
Unfortunately, we need to let everyone know that Ken has had to step out of the team for the coming 25/26 season.
Ken was diagnosed a few years ago with low-grade non-Hodgkin lymphoma. He has now been diagnosed with high-grade non-Hodgkin lymphoma and is currently starting chemotherapy which will take him out for the rest of the season. We are gutted that Ken is not able to join us this year, but he is still very much part of our team. We would like to take this opportunity to wish Ken all the best for his upcoming treatments, and hopefully, we will see him back on the ice with us soon.
We do not currently have a replacement for Ken; we will announce this in due course.

Fredericton is proving more difficult to get out of than we anticipated! 3 of us had our original flight cancelled so a hotel move & an extra night drinking in Fredericton it was. Rearranged travel today so fingers crossed ๐Ÿคž ๐Ÿ™

Posting a few days late! But we wrapped up the competion with a fantastic closing banquet on Saturday night, after being asked for our autographs again! Was great to catch up with all the competitors socially & we even got the chance to meet some elite curlers. ๐ŸฅŒ
It was brilliant to travel with the English ladies team, they should be proud of how well they performed at their first outing and we had a lot of fun with them.
Fredericton and all the volunteers did an amazing job, going above & beyond to make sure we were all really looked after. We have made some new friends and memories to treasure for a lifetime.
