The Blackburn & District Branch was established in 1965 and is part of Pony Club Area 4.
The Pony Club is an international voluntary youth organisation for young people interested in ponies and riding. Founded in England in 1929, and granted independent charitable status on 1st January 1997, there are around 345 Branches and 600 Centres in the UK alone. Sincere apologies but we have 5 members off to Europe. Elsie Gibbons also makes the journey with her lovely pony, Tippy, to compete in the under 12's at the Europeans. This is their first time competing at an International. We wish them the best of luck.

As a club we are proud to announce that 4 of our members (Taryn Barker, Iman Alzawawi, Millie Simpson and Mollie Rose Roberts) are off to Europe to compete in both the World and European Mounted Games Championships.
Taryn is taking Cindy, who is only 5 years old but fabulous, for her international debut in World and European Individuals. Then her mighty Grace steps in for World Team and World Pairs, where they are the defending World Champions
Millie has her fabulous Merlin, competing abroad for the first time in the U12s.
Iman and Roxy make a return trip, after coming a very good 4th in 2025. They step back into the ring to see how they can do in 2026.
Mollie, riding her home produced Rosemary, travels as reserve for Scotland in the under 18's at Worlds, a huge step for a 14 year old. She also has the fabulous Missy in the under 15's for the Europeans.

Great time at the Royal Welsh taking 4th in great company - notably a run off with Wylie Valley (who have ready secured their golden ticket to HOYS).
