What an amazing achievement for three of our youngest Soccer HQ Preston players! 💚🖤

Three of our Friday Night Masterclass boys headed over to Liverpool on Sunday to take part in their first ever U5 tournament - and only went and came away CHAMPIONS! 🏆🔥

After making it all the way to the Champions League Final, the boys held their nerve and won it ON PENALTIES! 😱⚽️🙌

At this age, tournaments are about so much more than winning. Giving young players the opportunity to experience different teams, new environments and a little bit of competition can be brilliant for building confidence, resilience, independence and a love for the game. 💚

For children this young, every tournament is a learning experience - understanding how to play as a team, dealing with winning and losing, being brave on the ball and, most importantly, having fun with their friends.

To see three of our youngest players putting into practice what they’ve been learning at their Friday Night Masterclasses and other coaching they attend elsewhere, they make us incredibly proud.

And winning a final on penalties at just FOUR years old… what a tournament to remember! 😂🏆👏

What a fantastic day yesterday at the Knutsford 3v3 Tournament! ⚽👏

For many of our players, this was their first taste of tournament football, and to make it even more challenging, some of them were playing an age group up! 💪

Teamwork, confidence and bravery they showed every time they stepped onto the pitch. Experiences like these are invaluable in helping young players develop both on and off the ball. All with smiles on their faces☺️

We’re incredibly proud of every single one of them for giving their all, supporting each other and representing Soccer HQ Preston so brilliantly👊💚

What an incredible few weeks it’s been for one of our Soccer HQ Preston players! 👏⚽

Hugo attends our Elite Masterclasses alongside training and playing for his grassroots club, and we’re absolutely delighted to celebrate his recent achievements.

After attending our Liverpool FC Academy experience day, Hugo impressed so much that he’s now been invited to attend training sessions with Liverpool FC Academy. 🔴🙌

As if that wasn’t enough, Hugo also represented Soccer HQ Preston at the Blackpool FC Pre-Academy Futsal Tournament, where his performances earned him an invitation to train with the Blackpool FC Pre-Academy. 🟠⚫

This is exactly what football development is all about. Grassroots football provides the foundations, and through our Elite Masterclasses we aim to complement that by enhancing each player’s technical ability, confidence, decision-making and overall game. Working together with grassroots clubs gives young players the best possible environment to develop, and Hugo is a fantastic example of that partnership in action.

These opportunities don’t come around by chance. Hugo’s hard work, commitment and attitude have been outstanding, and we’re incredibly proud of everything he’s achieved so far.
