We are delighted to announce the two University clubs being inducted into the club hall of fame, as part of the class of 2023.
Congratulations to Durham University Taekwondo and UCLan Dragons Taekwondo 🥳
Both clubs have been incredibly involved and supportive of both Student Taekwon-Do and BUTL over the years and have done amazing things for the sector, well done to everyone involved past and present 👊😀

UCLan Taekwondo Team 2021/2022 are going from strength to strength! At the recent British University Taekwon-Do League BUTL Nationals Competition, their squad of 15 came home with:
🥇 2 Gold
🥈 3 Silver
🥉 6 Bronze
An amazing result from the first competition the club has competed in- and the club is already ranked officially as 10th out of 35 Uni clubs! 🥋🥇 Congratulations team!👏

🥊🥋🏅National Student Championships 2022 Rankings🏅🥋🥊
It’s only been a week since the incredible record breaking return of the National Student Championships and we still aren’t over the amazing standards and efforts shown by 35 different University clubs. 🤩
As revealed on the day a huge well done to Nottingham Trent University who take the crown as the overall Nationals Champions, followed by Loughborough University in 2nd place and DeMontfort University in 3rd place. 🥳👍
We can now also reveal where all 35 Universities placed, a huge well done to everyone. Regardless of placement, everyone in attendance was a winner last weekend, returning to high level competition after two years was truly inspiring. We can’t wait for the 2023 edition of the Nationals! 👊😀

Our first time competing on the student taekwondo circuit and our first year operating as an ITF Taekwondo club and we placed 10th out of 35 universities at British University Taekwon-Do League BUTL national championships!
Couldnt be more proud! a fantastic achievment by all or competitors!
