Today we hosted our Golf Sixes fixture in the South West B league. 5 teams from Turnberry, Troon Welbeck, Troon Ladies, Ballochmyle and Prestwick St Cuthbert enjoyed a buffet lunch from The Tap-In before tackling the 6 hole competition.
Thanks to all who make these things happen.

Congratulations to junior club champion Jenson Fergusson on his success in the Junior Tour Scotland U18 Order of Merit this season 🏌️🥇🤝👏

Congratulations to FirstPoint athlete Jenson Fergusson who has capped off an excellent season on the golf course by winning the Scottish Junior Tour U18s Order of Merit!

The talented golfer from Royal Troon has been a model of consistency throughout 2026, posting top-20 finishes in each of the seven events he competed in, including four top-10s.

Jenson is building towards starting his college golf career in Fall ‘27 and also impressed at the Scottish Boys Amateur Championship, where he finished in 2nd place at the stroke play qualifying stages.

🏆 Louise Crooks Trophy Winners! 🏆

Many congratulations to our Prestwick St Cuthbert Ladies, who recently took on Prestwick St Nicholas Ladies in their annual match for the Louise Crooks Trophy.

This year’s match was played at Prestwick St Nicholas, with our team of 12 securing a fantastic victory to bring the trophy back to St Cuthbert! 👏⛳️🏆

Well done to all the ladies who represented the club, and many thanks to Prestwick St Nicholas for their hospitality and another enjoyable match.

Handicap & Scratch Teams

As the competitive golf season comes to a close both team captains would like to thank all the members who represented the club in what was a so close but yet so far season 💙💛

Scratch Team 🥈
Having dominated Ayrshire golf for past 2 seasons with back to back Division 1 titles captain Steven Gillies and his team were determined to make it a repeat treble mirroring 2015/16/17. However, credit to Ayr Belleisle who came out on top this year winning their 1st Division 1 title with a strong team stringing together some excellent results.

Handicap team 🥉
Andrew Riddick captained the Handicap team this year and came close to a promotion battle. Losses away to Beith and Moorpark at the tail end of the campaign ended the dreams of promotion. However, the team had a fantastic run in the 4 man knockout beating Beith, Bogside and skelmorie to reach the semi finals. Losing 2-1 to Tam O’Shanter in a hard fought battle.
