🚨TEAM ANNOUNCEMENT🚨

It’s a big game this weekend at the height of the spooky season and here we have the set of lads that are gearing up to head to Chinnor RFC Wildboys and Outlaws to clash with a strong side that are sure to put up a fight.

The lads feel ready though and are well rested hoping to hit the ground running Saturday with an upset on their mind. Who knows what will happen? All we know is there’s sure to be some fireworks… we look forward to seeing everyone there and hope to see some quality costumes for our social afterwards. And as always… 🔴⚫️

🚨📢 BREAKING NEWS: DIGITAL CHAN IS ACTUALLY WORKING! 😂🏉

We put Chan in charge of digital marketing at Risborough RFC, and the bloke has only gone and done his job! 🤯

🔥 Three new players have joined the club!

At this rate, we'll have to give him a pay rise, a corner office and possibly his own changing room. 😂

📈 The stats don't lie… although we're still trying to work out how to get him to do the washing up after training.

Who's next? Premiership Rugby? World Rugby? The United Nations? 🌍😂

🚨 BREAKING NEWS FROM RRFC! 🚨

Following our recent disappointment of being unable to field a team against Milton Keynes, the club has decided enough is enough. It's time to take action! 💪🏉

We're proud to introduce our newest team member and the club's very first mascot… DIGITAL CHAN!🍺

Based on one of our founding players, with well over 200 caps for the club, a true club legend and now, apparently, a digital superstar. 😂

But Digital Chan isn't just here to look pretty. He's got a few words to say…

📢 RRFC WANTS YOU! 📢

"Rugby is all about community, having a laugh and standing shoulder to shoulder with your best mates. And nowhere does that quite like Risborough Rugby Club.

We're your favourite rugby club's favourite rugby club 🍻

No egos. No cliques. Just good people, good rugby and a club that welcomes everyone, whatever your ability or experience. From complete beginners to ex-pros, we want you to come down and get stuck in!

We've got options for everyone:

🏉 1st XV rugby
🏉 2nd XV rugby – the Black Knights
🏉 Ladies rugby
🏉 Touch rugby
🍻 Social and VP Members

Basically, if you fancy chasing an oddly shaped ball around for 80 minutes (or a bit of fitness and fun without the tackling), we've got something for you!

You might come for the rugby, but you'll stay for the people.

🍻 Great socials.
🏉 Great rugby.
❤️ Great club.

So, what are you waiting for? RISBOROUGH RFC WANTS YOU! 🖤❤️"

And don't worry… Digital Chan has plenty more to say. Keep your eyes peeled for more inspirational words of wisdom from our newest club legend. 😎

🏉 MATCH UPDATE

Unfortunately, this weekend’s away fixture against Milton Keynes has been cancelled, as we’ve been unable to field a team for a number of reasons.

We pride ourselves on doing everything we can to get a game on for everyone involved, so this is naturally disappointing.

Thanks for your understanding and continued support.
