Our Game of Runs tournament is in full swing and as we approach the end of our first week, I just wanted to let you know that there is still time to be a part of the excitement.

Anybody can be included. If you use Strava, you can join our Game of Runs club free of charge at https://www.strava.com/clubs/2238325

There is an option to win prizes for finishing 1st, 2nd or 3rd on our leaderboard. However, you are only have a chance if winning these prizes if you have paid entry. Regardless of where you finish on the leaderboard, all paid entrants will receive a medal for taking part. We’ve been busy behind the scenes at The Running Bug, and we’re excited to start rolling out our brand-new Runner’s Dashboard — designed to make your virtual running experience more interactive, rewarding and personal.

There’s nothing new you need to sign up for. Simply head to The Running Bug⁠� and log into My Account in the normal way. Once logged in, you’ll notice a fresh new look and a growing range of features. 💚

Here’s what you can explore:
🏠 Your Dashboard – Your new running hub. See your races entered, kilometres logged, Bug Miles balance and weekly activity at a glance.

🏁 Current Challenges – See the virtual races and challenges you’re currently taking part in and track your progress towards the finish line.

🏆 Completed Challenges – Your very own finisher gallery! Look back at the challenges you’ve conquered, distances completed and medals earned.

📜 Certificate Library – Completed a challenge? Your certificates will have their own dedicated home, ready to download, print, frame or share.

📤 Submit an Activity – We’ve redesigned the evidence submission process into four simple steps. Upload evidence from Strava, Garmin, Fitbit, Apple Health, GPS screenshots, event photos and more.

🌱 Your Impact – We want your miles to mean more. The new Impact area will show how your running contributes towards initiatives such as tree planting, plastic removal and ocean clean-up projects.

Our Game of Runs Tournament has kicked off spectacularly. Well done to everyone who have sent their evidence today. Kathryn has taken the lead after the first day with 17.1 km. But it's still early days. Who will be crowned our Game of Runs Champion? You'll have to stay tuned to find out.

The Game of Runs Tournament starts tomorrow, a unique virtual challenge where people run, walk or jog as many miles/kilometres as possible during the month of September. Prizes are available for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places.
