☀️ SUMMER SALE ☀️

As many of you know, our gym has changed enormously over the last year.

We've moved into a space three times the size, expanded our timetable, added more classes, and invested heavily in new equipment and facilities.

Despite all of that, we've worked hard to keep our monthly membership prices exactly the same.

To help us continue doing that, our 5-month membership blocks, which occasionally become available, will be increasing in price.

Usual offer:
• Gym OR Classes: £259 for 5 months
• Gym + Classes: £299 for 5 months

New prices:
• Gym OR Classes: £275 for 5 months
• Gym + Classes: £315 for 5 months

The new prices still offer a great saving compared to paying monthly, and PayPal Pay Later options remain available.

Before the increase takes effect, we're offering one final opportunity to secure a 5-month block at the current prices of £259 or £299.

If you’re new, it’s a great time to hop in! (And if you’re NEW you actually can nab £274 for 5 months gym AND classes 🔥)

If you're already on a block membership, you can simply add another 5 months onto your current expiry date.

If you're currently paying monthly and would like to switch to a block membership, that's absolutely fine too.

Everything available on PayPal pay later still.

We have 25 memberships available at the current prices before the increase takes effect.

If you'd like one, just drop us a message.

I usually have a coach.

That surprises people.

I'm a coach. I know how to lift. I know how to programme. I work hard.

I've coached hundreds of women.

And yet, on Monday, I start with a new coach.

Why?

Because knowledge isn't usually the problem.

Objectivity is.

I'm emotionally invested in my own training.

My injury history makes me second-guess myself. Sometimes I'm too cautious. Sometimes I'm too aggressive. Sometimes emotion wins over evidence.

If I want the best results possible, I need someone who isn't me.

Someone who can look at the data without the baggage.

Someone who can say:

"You're doing too much."

"You're not doing enough."

"Your recovery isn't where it needs to be."

"Your nutrition needs attention."

"Your sleep is affecting your performance."

I need someone who notices when I'm underperforming and isn't afraid to call me on it.

The irony is that it's exactly the same reason my clients hire me.

Yes, coaching can be about teaching someone how to exercise.

But eventually it becomes about something else.

Accountability.

Objectivity.

Consistency.

Someone paying attention.

Someone asking:

"Hey, you missed training yesterday. Everything okay?"

"Great work this week. What's the plan for your nutrition today?"

"You smashed that session. Have you got your recovery sorted?"

Some clients want a programme and occasional guidance.

Some want detailed support and regular check-ins.

Some want every variable monitored and adjusted.

How closely we work together depends entirely on your goals.

But coming from someone who has coached hundreds of women and still invests in coaching herself...

Coaching is one of the best investments you can make.

I'm onboarding a small number of new clients this summer.

If you're ready to progress, ready to commit and ready to do the work, send me a message.

It’s not easy.

You spend your young adulthood navigating the world.

Finding a career. Having kids.

You spend the next few years drowning in your own work, their homework, plays, dentist appointments and expensive uniform trips.

You think “Try to enjoy it, rest when they’re moved out”… but they don’t move out.

And if they do they’re still on the phone.

“Muuuuuuuum...”

Then come the grandkids.

But it’s okay, because you’re nearly retired and they’re so cute.

It’s nice to be needed.

You retire.

Time for me!

But your parents or in-laws get sick.

The house, that’s been left during the madness years, needs sprucing.

Then there’s your knees, your back, your shoulders that are playing up.

Then …MORE grandkids…another parent gets sick…

You’re busier than you have ever been.

🫠

Whether you are in the baby years, grand-baby years, fur-baby years or parental-care years…

Things will keep coming up.

There is never, ever a perfect time to do something for you.

Life is happening and it happens fast, stop waiting for it to settle down.

You have to choose yourself whenever and however you can.

Whether it’s the simple act of drinking enough, eating enough, or moving enough.

Pick a thing and prioritise yourself.

Social Media is not real.

The photos are edited.

The cellulite is removed.

The acne is smoothed out.

The wobbly bits are filtered.

They’re standing in very flattering lighting.

They’re stretched and posed.

They’re not sat, hunched with ill-fitting-jeans.

That dinner they ate?

It’s either bigger, smaller or simply not theirs.

The supplements they sell?

They don’t take them.

Pushers don’t use their own supply.

The electrolytes they tag in every post?

They sit, unused, because they can’t stand the taste.

Don’t buy in to it, believe it or be shamed by it.

Turn off your phone and talk to real people.

Buy the clothes that feel fabulous, and show the wibbles and wobbles.

Don’t hide yourself because someone you’ve never met doesn’t look like you.

Don’t swallow a smile because botox is expensive.

Don’t mimic an influencer.

AI’s meant to mimic us.

Not the other way around.

I’ve made a big decision.

As many of you know I’m training a lot at the moment.

We’re talking

🏋️‍♀️ 3 x Full body lifting sessions
🏃‍♀️ 2 x Hyrox-based threshold training
🚴 5-7hrs of zone 2 cardio

(The last one is the one that drops when things get a bit mad, but I’m working on a new routine from TODAY)

Part of this is just to see what happens when I take training seriously.

The other part is because HYROX has brought competitiveness out in me (I’m not a competitive person so this was a surprise).

But I’ve been thinking.

If I gave myself 4 years…

Could I hit Women’s Elite 15 numbers?

(Elite 15 is the fastest 15 women in the world 👀)

So.

That’s my decision.

My commitment.

I’m going to document the entire thing with the question…

Can someone go from a 1:54 HYROX to a seriously competitive time for Elite 15 (sub 1 hr by the way)?

And can that someone be me? (Business owner. Mum to a 6 year old. Hypermobile)

And can it be done by 37?

Let’s find out!

🔥

I don’t normally do these, but I can’t hack it anymore…

Six - SIX - times I talked someone out of a tree because the scales were too high, just yesterday.

God knows how many this week.

It’s summer, so the scale discussion is relentless.

But the scales are a load of bo****ks when you begin to lift consistently.

THEY MEAN NOTHING!

And to prove a point, here are two moments in time.

This is me, Maddie.

23 years old, very into exercise but a cardio bunny.

I didn’t eat many carbs.

Body was okay, but not much muscle at all.

I had just lost a stone and felt VERY smug.

THEN

A decade later, 2026.

33 years old

A lifter, now training for a competitive HYROX time.

I do not diet. I eat in a slight calorie surplus because I’m trying to gain muscle mass.

I am TWO STONE HEAVIER IN PICTURE TWO.

I have LESS BODY FAT.

I am stronger, faster, fitter.

I eat 2500 calories a day, minimum.

I eat SO MANY CARBS.

All of this noise around diet is just noise.

Throw the goddamn scales in the goddamn bin and just focus on your health.

Lift well, eat properly, stop the diets.

The body you want eats way more carbs than you think and weighs way more than you believe.

🖕 diet culture can do one.

Be strong
