Freya joined LDA when she was just four years old after watching her big sister dance and wanting to be part of the fun too. A true Musical Theatre lover, she brings energy and personality to every class and performance.

Every dancer's journey looks different at Leonard Dance Academy, and Freya's passion and love for performing make hers a joy to watch.

If your child would like to start their own dance journey with us, whether toddler or teenager, we'd love to welcome them too! 💜

We are incredibly proud to share that Dax and Ava have both been accepted onto the Royal Ballet School Associate Programme!

The Associate Programme offers talented young dancers the opportunity to receive additional specialist training from Royal Ballet School teachers, helping to develop their technique, artistry and musicality alongside their regular dance education.

This is a fantastic achievement and a reflection of the hard work, dedication and passion that both dancers bring to their training every week.

Congratulations, Dax and Ava! We are so excited to watch you make the most of this wonderful opportunity and can't wait to see what the future holds for you both.

What a wonderful weekend at The ISTD Ballet Awards Finals ✨

A huge congratulations to ALL of our dancers who represented LDA so beautifully. We are incredibly proud of every one of you.

Reaching the Ballet Awards final is an incredible achievement in itself, and every dancer who stepped onto that stage represented LDA with professionalism and grace.

A huge congratulations to our dancers who have successfully qualified for the All England Dance National Finals in Eastbourne this summer!

We're delighted to share that Dax and Ava have secured their place with their beautiful Ballet Duo, and Rosie, Lois, Charlotte and Eloise will be representing LDA with their stunning Lyrical Quartet.

To reach the National Finals is an incredible achievement and reflects the hard work, dedication and commitment these dancers show week after week.

We would also like to say a huge well done to all of the dancers who represented LDA at the Regional Finals. Simply reaching this stage of the competition is something to be incredibly proud of. Congratulations for performing with such confidence, professionalism and for supporting one another.

We are so proud of every dancer who stepped onto that stage and can't wait to cheer our finalists on in Eastbourne from 25th July to 2nd August. ✨

✨ HALF TERM NOTICE ✨

LDA is now closed for half term, with our normal timetable returning on Monday 1st June.

This also includes our Tuesday morning Gymnastics Stay & Play sessions, which will pause for half term and return next week.

Please note that exam coaching and ballet award coaching classes will still continue during the break.

We hope all of our dance families enjoy a lovely half term rest.

We are incredibly proud of every dancer who has qualified for All England Dance Regional Finals this season. Behind every routine is hours of rehearsals, determination, courage, teamwork and a genuine love for performing.

From solos to duets, trios and troupe pieces, it’s been amazing watching our dancers grow in confidence and support one another every step of the way.

Congratulations to all of our qualifiers. Your teachers, dance families and teammates are so proud of you ✨
