Knowing what you’re training for…

As soon as I know my goal I break it down physically, mentally, tactically and technically; so I can stay free, enjoying my training and give it my all.

These I feel for me and my clients are the most essential methods to staying on track towards achieving whatever goal has been set; the outcome of the PB or where you finish on a competition day is a pure bonus.

Coffee & Consistency ☕️

Morning coffee. Morning sunshine. A few minutes to reset before the day gets going.

People often think progress comes from the big things.

The perfect programme.
The perfect diet.
The perfect motivation.

But the truth?

Progress usually comes from the small things done consistently.

A workout when you don’t feel like it.
A walk instead of sitting on the sofa.
An extra litre of water.
Going to bed a little earlier.

Small wins add up.

If you’re waiting for the perfect time to start, you’ll be waiting forever.

Start where you are.
Use what you’ve got.
Get stuck in.

My lifting journey so far…

Here’s a highlight reel of some of my current PBs.
Naturally, I want to beat every single one of them but I’m proud of what I’ve achieved so far.

What I love most is the challenge of getting stronger and everything that comes with it the training, the consistency, the setbacks, the lessons and the small improvements that add up over time.

One thing I’d encourage everyone to do is start recording your progress. Whether it’s a whiteboard, notebook, app, or spreadsheet, track it!

Anything that can be measured can be improved.

You don’t have to be chasing huge numbers either. It could be an extra rep, a faster run, a better technique or simply showing up more consistently.

Hard work pays off. Consistency is key. Progress, not perfection.
