An amazing effort from Scott and Mark reaching the final of the mixed fours only to lose by 1 shot.
After yesterday’s incredible Middleton Cup final it’s back to Berkshire bowls for our second county finals day at the home of bowls.

What an amazing day for all our Berkshire lads, everyone putting club rivalries aside to create an incredible squad of players led by a great manager to the pinnacle of County bowls. A day to remember for everyone involved. A big thank you to all those Tilehurst members who came to support the squad yesterday and throughout the season.
A great game in the last 16 of the Bowls England two wood singles, unfortunately for Andy a 14-15 defeat on the last bowl of the extra end.
A disappointing end to the run in the fours with a 16-17 loss in the last 16.

Two great results for our men’s fours yesterday against two good sides from Cornwall and Wiltshire at Leamington Spa in the National Championships.
They now face Hampshire in the last 16 this morning.
A great effort from Carlos winning his first two games before losing in the last 16 to England International Jordan Philpott.

Unfortunately our run in the National two fours comes to an end after defeat to Shanklin. Congratulations to Shanklin and we wish them well at Leamington.

A brilliant semi final between two good teams tonight in the club championship.
Tilehurst coming out on top by 7 shots with a 4 shot win at home and 3 shot win away. Great support at both venues for the lads.
We now face Thatcham in the final.
Our run in the National Top club came to an end last night with a 2-3 defeat against Shanklin, we now face Shanklin on Monday in the two fours for a place at Leamington.

After a disappointing defeat on Monday in the county double fours, we have bounced back with wins in the Kennet league and Club Championship.
With 9 of the squad unavailable this week it has been an incredible effort from the remainder of the squad to get the 2 wins.
Congratulations to Liam Hancock on reaching the county singles semi final, he now faces John Heapy for a place in the final and at Leamington Spa.
Unfortunately our other 3 quarter finalists were defeated.
A great win over Newbury 13-1, keeps us on the top of the table with 2 games to go.
A good win in the county double fours last night against Kingston Bagpuize 51-21. We now face Maidenhead Town in the quarter final next Monday.
Another trip to Leamington Spa booked for the club with Andy Knapper qualifying in the Two Wood singles after 3 victories at Wantage BC on Sunday. Knapper defeated R Heathman, B Mallandain and P Hitt to book his place in the County Final and a trip to Leamington Spa.
A fantastic win in the National Two Fours last night against an excellent Boscombe Cliff side played at Alton Social Club. After the news the team was re-instated in the competition the lads took their chance with a 9 shot win and now face Cove or Shanklin for a place at Leamington Spa.
A brilliant day on Saturday with 11 of the Middleton Cup Squad coming from our club, featuring in the Qtr Final win over Surrey at Cove.
