Congratulations to Aubrey Merry and Mark Hancock on their win in the area final of the senior pairs against Gordon Knapper and Stewart Wright by 20-10 at Bracknell.
A brilliant effort from our lads last night battling back to take the game to the last few ends from nearly 30 shots down. Unfortunately just coming out with only 4 points though and resulting in us finishing runners up to Thatcham.
Congratulations to Thatcham on taking the title.
It has been a great effort this season with so many new faces in the squad from our newer bowlers.

[08/04/21] A battling 10-4 win for the A team over Wantage last night. A great effort on all 4 rinks keeps us in with a sniff of the title going into a last game decider with Thatcham next Tuesday.

[07/30/21] A great win in the Club Championship against Wantage 80-40, we now move into the qtr finals against Windsor and Eton.
The get out of jail free card played last night in the Benevolent triples qtr final. 4 down with 2 to play, with our boys coming out with a 3 shot win.

[07/28/21] A battling win over Newbury last night in the Kennet League 14-0. After a slow start we came back to take a full haul of points and keep up the pressure on Thatcham.

[07/24/21] A wonderful run for our silver foxes came to an end last night in the semi final of the county triples losing 10-20 to Maidenhead Thicket. Congratulations to Tilehurst old boy Gordon Knapper on his qualification for Leamington.

Unfortunately our other pair of Mark and David Hancock lost on a last end measure 13-14 to Darren Holder and Gary Stacey.
Congratulations to Patrick Hulbert on his 16-9 win over Colin Carson at the Royal Household in the qtr final of the two wood champion of champions.
Patrick now moves into the semi final to face either Richard Heathman or Tom Clough.
