Congratulations to RWL lifters and both of whom took podium places at the first European Online Weightlifting Championship. Tania took bronze in her category and Paul took Silver.
Special mention to Tania who was unable to train from March to August due to the national lockdown in the UK and still managed to achieve this.

Excellent afternoon of lifting with members of and at our own in-house open.
We had reached the end of the current training block and a few of us were aiming to take part in the South Series 2 so we shamelessly stole idea and had an in-house comp.
Well done to .nathan Emma Chris .farmiloe .osullers and Steve for having the minerals to put themselves out there.
Massive shout to for running the show. Judging, scoring and loading she did it all.

Every box, up and down the country is welcoming and inclusive. But we know we can always improve. Yesterday we sent out to all UK affiliate owners, an ‘Equality and Diversity’ policy, developed by CrossFit Leicester Affiliate Co-Owners, Andy & Jennifer Osborne. We want to thank Andy and Jennifer for kindly sharing, not just this policy, but also their expertise with the community. CrossFit Leicester are leading the way when it comes to ensuring diversity and equality within their box. As Jennifer beautifully put… “It’s about ENRICHING your community.” We are also going to support Andy in encouraging more B.A.M.E participation in CrossFit. More B.A.M.E members, coaches and eventually CrossFit affiliate owners. The following words are from Andy himself….. "Imagine a life without CrossFit. I don't mean the daily workouts you do in your box, but the global community. Knowing you can go anywhere in the world and jump into a workout at a CrossFit box with like-minded people, that extended sense of community and that shared belief in the CrossFit methodology. This is the stark reality we are facing today. If you love CrossFit I am sure this is not what you want to see. This is why I am calling on all my fellow Black affiliate owners and coaches to STAY IN and help heal the rift and change the narrative from within. Now is the time for change, let's grab this opportunity and work on solutions rather than tearing the community apart. I implore you to be part of the change, let us join together, to help educate those within the CrossFit community to understand why our brothers and sisters feel so isolated and out of place. Be part of the dialogue with CrossFit to create strategies and develop programmes that will reach out to our Black community and encourage more people of colour to get in involved as members, coaches and affiliate owners. Let us focus on making the CrossFit community what it should be, a melting pot of all races and cultures, STAY IN and lead the way. This will not happen overnight, BUT will not happen without you.
