What a great day today. ❤️🥊🥋

A huge thank you to Steve, our Nemesis Fight Team sponsor, for coming down and supporting what we are trying to achieve.

Together, we are going to give working-class kids the opportunity to compete on the national and international stage.

The cost of competitions, travel, hotels and entry fees has risen so much that many ordinary working families are being priced out. And the sad reality is that some of the most talented fighters come from exactly those families.

At Nemesis, we never want a child’s potential to be limited simply because their parents cannot afford the cost of getting them onto that stage.

Steve’s support means we can help open those doors.

It means more of our kids can compete. More can represent their club and country. More can experience opportunities that could stay with them for the rest of their lives.

Talent should decide how far a child can go — not the size of their parents’ bank account.

Thank you, Steve. From Matt, me, our fighters and all the Nemesis families, we are incredibly grateful. ❤️

Together, we’re giving kids a chance. 🏆🌍🇬🇧

Now the dust has settled, I just wanted to say just how incredibly proud we are of our three fighters , Mikey, Khadijah and Zaakirah.

You proudly represented the UK with Team GB on your backs. Less than 1% of 1% of young athletes will ever get the opportunity to say they have done that.

No one can ever take that achievement away from you.

And remember, this goes far beyond martial arts. One day, when this appears on your CV, it will leap out to an employer. It shows discipline, commitment, resilience, courage and the ability to perform under pressure on a world stage.

You have now competed internationally at another major world event, having already experienced several others before this one. These are experiences and memories that will stay with you for life.

Know that the entire club is incredibly proud of each and every one of you.

The younger kids you help teach in Next Gen look up to you. They watch how you train, how you carry yourselves and how you represent Nemesis, and you are helping to shape the next generation coming through behind you.

So, on behalf of Matt, myself, all our coaches, parents and every child at the club, thank you.

You represented your country, your families and Nemesis with pride.

Well done Mikey, Khadijah and Zaakirah. We are immensely proud of you. 🇬🇧❤️

Inspiring the next generation! 🏆🌍 Showing our young athletes what’s possible and giving them the chance to meet our World Champions.

Well done to all our fighters — you guys were excellent! 👏🥇
