2021-2022 has now started.

New season for North Reading Badminton Club !
This year, we are entering a men's team in Division 4, a Ladies' team in division 2, in partnership with Ufton Bad. Club and a mixed team in Division 3 !!! 😀😀
We are also entering the RBA knockout Cup!
Great games are coming , stay tuned !!!

Great win for the Ladies on Friday - 3 rubbers all, but NR won more games. Credit must go to Rosemarie who played despite suffering from an injured and very painful little toe.

NOTE - No Club night on 30 September as Highdown School have an open evening

We have had an overwhelming response to the start of our 2021-2022 season and we are now at full capacity and unable to take anymore members or invite guests down.

Summer club is now over, we are back to regular club nights from this Wednesday.

North Reading had a very successful season in the RBA league. The men's team finished top of their division and will now be promoted, as will the mixed team as they move into division 2. The ladies finished second in their division in the joint venture with Ufton. Well done to everyone who played in our teams 👏🎉🏆

Our first mixed match last night was very close and we narrowly lost 5-4. Bav and Chris were the stars of the show as they won all three of their games - congratulations to you both 👏

Our Story

Our club nights are on a Wednesday at Highdown School Sports Hall, Emmer Green from 7.30 to 9.30 p.m. We currently have one ladies, one men’s and one mixed teams that play in the Reading Badminton Association (RBA) League plus we always enter a team for the RBA Cup. We currently play home matches at Kendrick school in Reading which has an excellent sports hall. Currently we are unable to offer membership to junior members (under 18s) due to insufficient resources within the club.

Season starts: 7 September 2018

Season ends: 24 April 2019
