Wallop abc was out again tonight at the Mercia abc show in Leicester ๐ฅ
We had 3 boxers on tonight first we had Oscar Sandbrook who was again stepped up against a top lad from LS20 boxing club , who had fought at a good level with his only loss against the Welsh champion in the 4 nations ๐ฅOscar come out strong snapping his opponent head back with the backhand, but his opponent used his experience to come back and listened to his corner well. He did not engage in the 2nd round and boxed to give Oscar a standing 8 count with a flurry of punches to stop him . We believed Oscar could have carried on but was still impressed how well he done and will learn from it
Next we had Malyck Dalmamy who has only been at the club 2 months, having his 2nd bout against a very strong lad from windmill abc ๐ฅ
Malyck listened to his instructions from corner not to get into a war as his opponent was strong and boxed beautifully, whipping left hooks and straight rights down the line, throughout the bout to win by a comfortable unanimous decision ๐
We then had Baylie Clarke who only boxed last week ,winning the National development Championship ๐ฅ He was matched against a experienced lad from Braunstone abc ๐ฅ Baylie started well boxing and working behind the jab to win the first round . He then dropped his opponent with a beautiful one two down the line in the 2nd . But his opponent had an engine and pushed Baylie back to the end of the round and won the 3rd to beat Baylie on points . We thought Baylie done enough but thatโs boxing and he again will learn from this . With all 3 boxers boxing on our home show next week at arrow vale sports centre in redditch . No doubt all 3 will learn from it and box again to there potential ๐ฅ
Thank you for inviting us on what was a quality show ๐ฅ
