Outwood Cricket Club

Outwood Cricket Club Set in beautiful National Trust land our club is truly a hidden gem. Our Junior Academy enjoys league and cup competitions at under 9,10,11,12 ages.

On Saturdays we contest the Kent County Village League in divisions 1 and 6 and with a full programe of friendlies on Sundays and midweek we offer cricket for most abilities. Coaching and friendlies are also arranged for under 7 and under 8 age ranges. We welcome new members and their families to enjoy our wonderful facilities including a new pavilion opened 2010 and a ground set in the middle of National Trust Forestry. Our website will provide a taste of what we do but please drop by. Our clubhouse is open on Mondays for women's training, Wednesdays for men's training and Thursday for our Youth Academy.

Now that the dust has settled on our First XI’s thrilling final-day title victory 🙌 we recognise the achievements of our superb Academy who received medals 🏅, certficiates and trophies 🏆 in acknowledgement of their hard work across the season.

Bridging the gap between our junior and adult teams, the Academy Awards Evening was held moments after our First XI celebrated their victory on the field 🍾 - helping inspire the next generation.

Fantastically attended, the proud children’s and parents’ smiles 😊 said it all.

Congratulations to all our winners - not least two of our amazing girls who won the top prizes of the Spirit of Cricket award and the Alex Milton Outstanding Potential award - the latter kindly sponsored by our friends at PowerPlay
