Is spending more time offline something you’d like to do?
Earlier this year, we were delighted to have the BBC join one of our Gold The Duke of Edinburgh's Award teams as they took on the Herriot’s Way; a challenging long-distance walking route through the beautiful Yorkshire Dales.

The experience featured in the BBC’s The Travel Show: The Great Offline Adventure, which explored what happens when we step away from our phones, disconnect from the constant notifications and reconnect with the world around us.
For our DofE students, going offline doesn’t just mean switching off technology. It means navigating together, making decisions, overcoming challenges and experiencing the landscape at a much more personal level, all while developing the resilience, teamwork and independence.
There’s something special about heading out with a map, your kit and your team and simply seeing where the adventure takes you.
