Since lockdown, it’s likely you’ve moved less and quite possibly eaten/drank more. I hope I’m wrong but I know for certain I’m having to put more conscious effort in to keeping my steps up and not reaching for the biscuit tin (that has not gone well).
Take a look at the graph shown. It’s a little reminder that no matter what option you decide is best for you, it all equates to the exact same result. It is impossible to lose weight without being in a deficit! Eat well, move more and hide the biscuit Jar!

Concentric - Shortening the muscle. Eccentric strength - lengthening the muscle. A lot of people get caught up using concentric to strengthen and build, whilst using eccentric to stretch. Why not do both and tick all of the boxes! Being strong AND flexible should be a big part of our training.

KNEE INJURIES OF REIGATE!

Liz works hard at improving the strength around her knees with Jason here at Ergo.

But she's not letting her bad knee stop her from doing cardio, Liz trains boxing once per week to keep up her fitness and work comfortably around her knee. (Also, she loves to hit me)

Steve's total weight loss has come to 8kg! As Steve is at work throughout the week (apparently), we chose that INTERMITTENT FASTING would be best suited to his lifestyle. The results speak for themselves.

TOP TIP: There is not one plan that suits everyone. We are all different and have to be willing to try new things in order to make a change to our bodies. Just because your best mate Tina lost loads of weight on Atkins doesn't mean it will work for you.
