I was really disappointed last week not to be able to make the official opening of the new Cruyff Court in Kirklandneuk due to having to be in Parliament that day.

It was great though to get along yesterday to see the new court for myself, the incredible work that has gone into refurbishing the Pavilion, and to meet with Stuart Wild from Renfrew Victoria, whose passion and determination has been the driving force behind the transformations that have taken place.

A huge thank you to Stuart for taking the time to chat. It was fascinating to hear more about the history of the project, the work that’s already been achieved, and the exciting plans the Vics have for the future and I look forward to supporting them in any way I can.

We would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas from everyone at Renfrew Victoria YFC/Girls. Special thanks to all the coaches, players, parents and guardians who support us throughout the year and are the heartbeat of the club, enjoy the well deserved break🎉.
