Congratulations to our club mates - Cambrian United Hot Steppers, who have been crowned 2026 Champions following an outstanding unbeaten tournament campaign.

Seven wins and one draw from eight matches saw the Hot Steppers lift the Coalfields Classic Shield - Wales’ oldest walking football event, capping off a fantastic day of walking football.

The Coalfield Classic Cup celebrates the heritage, community spirit and friendships that continue to thrive across former mining communities. As a club whose roots are closely linked to the historic Cambrian Colliery, this success carries added significance for everyone connected with Cambrian United.

The Women’s section is incredibly proud of the Hot Steppers and the way they represented the club throughout the competition, demonstrating teamwork, commitment and sportsmanship from start to finish.

Congratulations to all involved and to the organisers for delivering another excellent tournament.

This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a progressive and ambitious football club, working closely with the Men’s First Team staff across training sessions, matchdays and away travel.
