Our u15’s played a local derby today against NFA, tough away day for them, we are all proud of you Girls 🖤🤍

A very tough first game of the season but the girls gave it their all.

We conceded twice in the first 5 minutes and many teams would drop their heads but we never!

We remained competitive and in the game!

We found ourselves three down at half time.

In to the second half we started creating chances and were very unlucky not to find the net on a few occasions!

The tired legs started to show and having no subs made it a very difficult finish.

I am super proud of the girls today, everyone of them gave their all even when a few were carrying injuries towards the end.

Well done to Leilani being voted player of the match from the opposition.

Great way to start the season off with a win,
The girls all put a shift in today, 1st game is always a tough one, i did try a new formation today that we have not done before and i think they did well with it,
We did seem flat at times and silent, I sent Faith on with some energy to get them going again which she did perfectly 👏👏 sometimes thats all it takes to give them a little boost 💪

Some great balls into the box from the wingers today and very unlucky not to get on the end of them,

Well Done today Girls 👏👏

Massive Thank You to Paige and Emily for stepping up and doing 1/2 the game each in goal 👏👏

Selected as Captain today, and took us into the lead with a great goal ⚽️ picked the team back up when we conceded a goal and then took us back ahead again to 2-1 with another fantastic goal ⚽️

Started in Midfield today as we were short in that position, i gave her the job of controlling the midfield which i think she did very well, also very unlucky not to get on the score sheet with a volley that just went over the bar 🤯 eventually pulled her back out onto the wing and she continued to do what she does best 👏👏

Great to see all the hard work the girls have put in over the summer paying off. They played some brilliant football today and should all be proud of their performance.

I’m so proud of them all today. 🖤🤍⚽️

It’s been a big week for the girls with lots of change. Moving up to high school is a massive deal in itself, and then today was their first ever competitive game of football.

I genuinely don’t think the result reflects the game. The effort they put in, the football they played and the control we had for large parts of that match deserved more. I’m gutted for them, but incredibly proud of that performance. On another day, we win that game.

And I’m sure you’ll all agree, our first ever competitive Player of the Match was absolutely outstanding today. By far the best player on that pitch. 👏

I would like to say a massive thank you to all the parents who managed to get there by car or bus for a rearranged fixture at such late notice! We really appreciate it. 👏⚽️
The girls absolutely smashed it today, even though we didn’t get the result we wanted! Honestly, even though we lost, the girls played like winners, and that’s all I ask of them — to give everything and make the opposition not want to play us again! 💪😄
Colwyn Bay have even messaged to say what a great side we have, which is brilliant to hear! 👏🖤🤍
First half, we passed the ball really well, got our tackles in and had plenty of shots on target. We did concede, but we were unlucky too.
Second half, the girls came out absolutely amazing! A lot of the possession was in their half, and we scored two fantastic goals from Annabelle Duffy ⚽️⚽️. She also showed her strength in the middle, breaking up play and driving us forward — a brilliant performance that earned her Player of the Match! 🏆👏
We were still very much in the game! We had a penalty and could have finished a few more chances, but even after conceding again, the girls fought right until the very end. 💪⚽️
But the best result for me was seeing all the girls happy,
So, it’s back to training, where we can work on the things we could have done better and keep improving together!
Well done, girls! You should all be proud of yourselves, and thank you for giving us such a great start to the weekend! 💪⚽️🖤🤍

CPD Y Rhyl 1879 Girls U17's are looking for players who will be in school year 11 and 12 from this September.

Finishing 3rd in the North Wales Girls Football U15's Premier Division last season, we move up to the U17's league, for the 26/27 season.

We have lost some players to academy teams and ladies football, and are looking for a few more players to join us for the 26/27 campaign

We train every Tuesday evening, and play matches on Saturday morning against other teams in North Wales.

🥇U17s Conference Winners 🥇

On Saturday we took part in a u17s football tournament hosted by Northop Hall Girls & Ladies FC

What a fantastic day out. The girls played some of their best football !

We had so much fun ! 2 penalty shoot outs and through to the conference final with a 2-0 win meant they got their hands on a well deserved trophy 🏆!

The girls have worked so hard all season so it was brilliant to see their efforts come together
and lift the trophy 🏆 they thoroughly deserved !

Proud of every single one of you !
