A great night tonight at the club, celebrations! it was sensei John’s birthday today many happy returns from all the students. Also a sad goodbye to Francis who is moving to London and the start of a brand new adventure. Francis has been a fantastic roll model in the club and an inspiration to all the students. He has represented his country at World and European level and had great success at national level as well. We will all be sad to see him go and we all wish him great success on the next chapter of his life. We look forward to you visiting us and hearing about your latest adventures. Stay in touch we will all miss you immensely.

Congratulations to Sensei Richard and Sensei Tegwen who were married yesterday at the beautiful Chateau Rhianfa on the island of Anglesey. Tegwen looked stunning and Richard brushed up quite well to. They were surrounded by family and friends from far and near and a fantastic day was had by all. Wishing you both every happiness for the future from all the students and instructors both past and present at the Rhyl and Prestatyn Shotokan Karate Club.

Our very own Theo at the KUGB free Kata and Kumite course in Manchester. Training under the amazing Sensei Holly Bruce (6th Dan)one of the KUGB’s most popular instructors and Sensei Ryan Tucker a former world and European champion now retired, who is passing his considerable knowledge onto students of all ages and abilities. Well done Theo next time we will all be coming.
