🏆 AUGUST MEMBER OF THE MONTH 🏆

Our Member of the Month for August is Jagger 💪

This one is so well deserved because it isn’t just about what Jagger has done this month.

He has been consistently showing up for the last six months, putting the work in week after week and he just keeps improving.

He’s lost weight, lost body fat and maintained his muscle but what stands out just as much as his own progress is the way he is with everyone else.

Jagger is always positive.

He’s always encouraging other members, spurring people on and is usually one of the first to say well done when somebody else has achieved something.

He brings such a good energy into the gym and never makes it all about himself.

He just turns up, works hard, supports the people around him and keeps getting better.

And that’s exactly what we love to see.

Six months of consistency.
Six months of effort.
Six months of steadily moving forward.

Jagger really is one of those members who reminds us why we do what we do.

Seeing his own progress is brilliant, but seeing the confidence, positivity and encouragement he brings to everyone around him makes it even more special.

Well done Jagger ❤️ Fully deserved.

THE PRESSURE TO LOOK FIT IS STOPPING PEOPLE FROM BECOMING HEALTHY.

I’m fed up with people being made to feel they aren’t thin enough, fit enough or pushing themselves hard enough.
That unless they train until they can barely move, follow an extreme challenge or completely restrict their lives, they aren’t trying.

There are places that specialise in that style of training and if that’s what somebody enjoys, brilliant. That’s their approach and it works for their members.

But it isn’t ours and we won’t follow suit just to fit in.
We are not one size fits all because our members are not all the same.

Some are managing injuries, pain, fatigue or health conditions.
Some are exercising for the first time.
Others are extremely fit and follow challenging programmes designed specifically around their performance goals.

and every one of them belongs here.

Success might mean getting off the floor independently, lifting more than 3kg, putting type 2 diabetes into remission, running through a hospital to perform emergency surgery or achieving a new strength or fitness goal.

Those achievements may look completely different but every one of them can change a life.

We also focus on the health markers that can’t always be seen in a photograph.

Visceral fat, the fat stored around the internal organs, is one of the most important markers we monitor because higher levels are associated with an increased risk of conditions including type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease.

It is often overlooked because it doesn’t create the dramatic visual transformation people want to broadcast online.

But reducing somebody’s health risks matters far more to us than making everybody look the same.

I’m not a personal trainer and I don’t pretend to be one. We have a team of qualified, EXPERIENCED coaches who assess our members and write their programmes.

But I am highly educated, I help run this facility and I see the difference our approach makes to people every day.
It doesn’t take a PT qualification to understand that people have different bodies, abilities, health conditions, experiences and goals.

So why would we ever train them all in exactly the same way?

Thin does not automatically mean healthy.
Exhaustion does not automatically mean progress.

We will challenge you when you need challenging but we won’t run you into the ground just to create a result we can broadcast online.

We want you to move better, become stronger, reduce your health risks and enjoy a better quality of life.
Your training should add to your life.

It shouldn’t take it over, punish you or make you feel as though you’re failing.

Different bodies. Different abilities. Different goals.

Beacuse it’s YOUR health. YOUR journey.
Nobody else’s.

You can train 3 times a week and still be surprisingly inactive.

That sounds contradictory, but here’s why.

A workout might give you 45 minutes of exercise.

Your daily steps tell us much more about what you’re doing during the other 15 waking hours.

And that matters.

More daily movement means you’re:

✅ Burning more energy across the week
✅ Spending less time completely sedentary
✅ Getting more regular blood flow around the body
✅ Using your muscles and joints more frequently
✅ Helping your body manage blood sugar after meals
✅ Building the basic work capacity that makes everyday life easier

This is why we care about steps at 3 Sixty.

Not because 10,000 is some magical number.

Because someone going from 3,000 steps a day to 6,000 or 7,000 has effectively added thousands of extra little bouts of movement every single day.

Do that across a week.
Then a month.
Then a year.

That adds up to an enormous difference.

Your gym sessions build strength and fitness.
Your daily movement supports what happens during all the hours between them.

So don’t just ask:
“Did I train today?”

Also ask:
“How much did I move today?”

What does your current daily step average look like? 👇

I’ve spent far too much time playing around with AI to make this… so you’re watching it 😂

But genuinely, I think it’s a pretty cool way of showing what’s actually happening when you train.

You don’t build muscle just because you turned up and did a hard session.
Training gives your body a reason to adapt.
Protein gives it the building blocks.
Recovery gives it the chance to actually do the work.
Then you keep repeating that process over time.
That’s the bit people usually miss.
You’re not trying to smash yourself in one workout.

You’re trying to give your body a good enough reason to get stronger… then keep doing it consistently.

Anyway, meet Musc 💪
What should I get him to explain next?
Fat loss, protein, recovery or progressive overload?

**WE’VE HIT CAPACITY.**

So for now, we’re closing our doors to new starters.

Not because we’ve run out of room.

Because we’ve reached the number of people we can coach **without compromising the standard of the service.**

There’s an important difference.

We could keep taking memberships.

We could make sessions busier.

We could ask our coaches to spread their attention across more people.

Financially, that would probably make sense.

**For our members, it wouldn’t.**

3 Sixty was built around coaching people properly.

Knowing who is in front of us.

Knowing their injuries, limitations, goals and training history.

Watching how they move.

Adjusting when something isn’t right.

Progressing them when they’re ready.

And making sure nobody simply disappears into the room.

That becomes harder the more people you add.

So we’re drawing the line.

**We would rather have a waiting list than lower the quality of what our members receive.**

The spaces currently available are being reserved for people already going through our trial process.

We expect a small number of places to become available again around **mid-September**.

When they do, we’ll offer them to the waiting list first.

So if you’ve been thinking about joining us, you don’t need to wait until September.

Message us **“WAITING LIST”** and we’ll have a conversation now to see if 3 Sixty is the right fit for you.

Because our goal has never been to have the most

“I hate gyms.”

Honestly? We hear it all the time.

And usually, it’s not training people hate.

It’s walking into a room feeling completely out of place.
Not knowing what to do.
Feeling like everyone else belongs there except you.

That’s exactly why we created 3 Sixty differently.

You won’t be left wandering around trying to figure it out alone. We’ll get to know you, teach you what you’re doing and explain why you’re doing it.

Because the goal isn’t just to make you fitter.

It’s to help you feel confident, energetic, capable and maybe even start enjoying training.

If traditional gyms aren’t for you, you might feel differently about this one.

Comment **READY** and we’ll send you the details.

Paul probably sums this up better than I could.

Starting somewhere new is nerve-racking, especially if gyms have never really felt like your thing.

His advice?

Just get through the door.

Come in, have a chat, tell us where you’re at and what you want help with.

You don’t need to be fit already and you don’t need to know what you’re doing.

That’s our job.

Paul’s been with us since 2022 and normal gyms weren’t for him either.

Now 3 Sixty is just part of his life.

So if nerves are the thing holding you back, maybe just take that first step and come and see what we’re about.

Recap of our 3SIXTY sports day 2026 💪🏻 incredible effort from everybody 👏

16/08/2026

Today our fantastic coach Jay completed a half marathon in an incredible time of 1 hour 47 minutes ❤️

But this post is about so much more than his finishing time.

Jay ran wearing a T-shirt dedicated to “My Fighters”, his sister Laura, who is currently fighting breast cancer and his niece Bella, who has a tracheostomy.

Two incredibly strong people who despite everything they face remain so positive and bring so much light to the people around them.

And that tells you everything you need to know about Jay too.

He has so much going on in his own life, yet he walks into 3 Sixty every day and still makes space for everybody else.

He listens to our members, takes on their worries and always shows them genuine empathy, patience and kindness.

You would never know what he was carrying himself because he is always thinking about somebody else.

Jay started with us when he was just 17. We have watched him grow into the coach and the man he is today and he has become far more than a member of staff.

He is a huge part of 3 Sixty and always will be.

I think we can all agree that he is a truly admirable person and today we just want to give him the recognition he deserves.

Jay, we are incredibly proud of you not only for what you achieved today but for the person you are every single day.

We are so lucky and proud to have you as part of our team ❤️

Please show Jay some love in the comments. He deserves every bit of it 👏

A message from our co-owner, Cheryl ❤️

"I wanted to share this because I know more than most how easy it is to become obsessed with the number on the scales"

You lose weight, you want it to go lower. Then lower again. And before you know it, that number becomes the only thing you are judging your progress by.

But these two photos are a reminder that progress is about so much more than weighing less.

For me, tracking progress can be a little more complex because I have lipoedema. That means I carry abnormal lipoedema-affected fat and can experience inflammation, so my own body composition results always need to be looked at with that context in mind.

Our InBody scanner is incredibly valuable because it gives us far more information than normal scales, including body fat, skeletal muscle mass, body water, visceral fat and overall body composition.

But with my condition, I also know that no machine can look at my body fat and tell me which part is specifically affected by lipoedema.

That is why I never judge my progress by one number alone.

I look at:

📸 My photos
📏 My measurements
👖 How my clothes fit
💪 My strength
🏃 My fitness
❤️ How I feel
📊 And my InBody results over time

And honestly, these photos tell me far more than chasing another number down on the scales ever could.

The goal is not just to be lighter.

𝗜𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗯𝗼𝗱𝘆 𝗳𝗮𝘁, 𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝗰𝗹𝗲, 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿, 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗼𝗱𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.

So please, take the photos.

Even when you hate them.
Even when you think nothing is changing.
Even when the scales make you feel like you are not doing enough.

Because sometimes you need to see yourself side by side to realise just how much your body has actually changed. ❤️
