What a night for our very first Inter Academy Friendly!

A huge thank you to westbelfastjda for a brilliant game played in the right spirit from start to finish. The quality, sportsmanship, and determination on display from both teams made this a fantastic occasion and a memorable milestone for everyone involved.

To come away with a 4-4 draw in such a closely contested match shows just how bright the future is for junior darts. Every player should be incredibly proud of their performance, attitude, and commitment.

This fixture was more than just a result—it was about creating opportunities, building friendships, and helping young players gain valuable competitive experience through innovative online competition.

We’re grateful to everyone who supported the event and helped make our first inter-academy fixture such a success.

What a week it has been for Arjun.

Last Wednesday, Arjun signed terms with Target Darts as part of their Target Player Pathway programme — a fantastic achievement and an incredible opportunity for a young player with a bright future ahead.

If that wasn’t enough, Arjun celebrated in style by completing an outstanding hat-trick of tournament victories from Friday through to Sunday. His remarkable run included winning an Adult IDL event including the infamous Big Fish Checkout in the final 😅 alongside two JDC tournaments, showcasing both his talent and determination on the oche.

Everyone at Big Fish is immensely proud of what Arjun has achieved. His hard work, dedication, and commitment continue to pay off, and we are excited to see where this journey takes him next.

Massive congratulations to Big Fish Academy starlet Arjun Sharma on winning last night’s West London IDL! 🏆

Arjun produced an incredible average of 71.83 throughout the event, showing consistency, skill and composure beyond his years. To top it all off, he also reeled in the famous Big Fish in the Final, putting the perfect finish on a brilliant performance. 🎣🎯

A fantastic achievement and another milestone in what is shaping up to be a very exciting darting journey.

Last night we hosted our final free taster sessions 🎯

The standard was amazing, and we definitely uncovered a couple of absolute gems 👏🏻👏🏻

The highlight of the night had to be watching 8-year-old Taylor and 10-year-old Deacon smashing in huge scores during their incredible duals 🔥

But away from the darts, seeing so many kids with massive smiles on their faces just reinforced exactly why we’re doing this.

A huge thank you to all the parents for surviving the beer garden in that horrendous heat while the kids enjoyed the luxury of the air con inside 😉☀️

Honestly, it’s an absolute pleasure to give these youngsters a space where they can play a sport they clearly love alongside new and old friends alike 🎯❤️

Next week, the academy starts properly 👊🏼
