This is a fantastic achievement and recognition of the dedication, commitment and skill Roger continues to show.

We are incredibly proud to see one of our own representing Rickmansworth B.C. at such a prestigious event and know he will do himself, the club and Hertfordshire proud.

Enjoy the experience, play your natural game and make the most of every opportunity.

πŸŒ§οΈπŸ’š FRIENDLY MATCH REPORT πŸ’šπŸŒ§οΈ

It was certainly a soggy afternoon at Rickmansworth B.C. today as we welcomed Pinner for a friendly match that was unfortunately cut short by the weather.

Despite the conditions, two rinks managed to complete 10 ends, while the third rink battled through 8 ends before the rain eventually won the day.

The final score stood at 19-27, although the generous Pinner Captain kindly declared the match a draw given the circumstances.

A huge thank you to our friends from Pinner B.C. who were a pleasure to host. On another day, with a little sunshine, it would have been a wonderful afternoon of bowls.

Special thanks to today's playing squad for sticking it out and battling through the elements.

β˜• And a massive thank you to our fantastic tea squad:
β€’ Karen
β€’ Roger
β€’ Lesley
β€’ Hayden

You kept everyone going when it was needed most!

A special mention must also go to Bill Brackley, who turned up to lend a hand and spent the afternoon getting thoroughly soaked while issuing parking permits.

Volunteers like Bill are the lifeblood of our club, and we are incredibly grateful for everything you do.

Well done to the Rickmansworth Vets Green team today!

The team travelled to Chess Vale Bowls Club and faced another artificial green, along with some challenging weather conditions. After 12 ends, a thunderstorm brought proceedings to an early close, with the match finishing honours even at 22–22.

A hard-fought contest and a great effort from everyone involved. Well played, Green team!
