Jonathan Collins contacted us to ask if we could share his Wheelchair Fencing page 😊 Here is his message:

"My name is Jonathan Collins and I have Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus, and I am also a Wheelchair Fencer from the UK. My aim is to show what it is like to be an athlete with both conditions. Please can I share my Wheelchair Fencing Page on your page to help spread the message."

At Watford, we have applied for and are waiting to hear back about British Fencing's Sword Seat system for seated fencing. Once we have that, we'll be able to offer seated fencing at the club. Jonathan, you would always be very welcome to fence at Watford.

Big thanks for Bedford Fencing Club for coming to Watford for friendly sabre team matches a couple of weeks ago!

Pleased to say Watford emerged victorious despite Bedford bringing tough teams!

In the end, it was smiles all around and we spotted a couple of very regal looking gentlemen too...
