Two games this Sunday that featured Hertfordshire teams in the 'North London Division'

St Albans Abbey vs Tea Green
Tea Green took 11 players to Abbey View on Sunday picking up 1 bonus point before any ball was kicked by having 10 or more players in a league match. World Number 1 Ben Clarke showed why he exactly he has that title by scoring a course record of -17 through 18 holes taking 1st place and 5 points for Tea Green. UK open winner Liam Shutes was also on fine form with -13 taking 2nd place and another 3 points for Tea Green. Neil Shave showed fine form once again with -10 and making it a clean sweep for Green. Gareth Shrimpton took 4th spot with -8 and to pair up with Shave. Paul Doonan -8 and Prev Selvarajah -3 we're again top two scorers for Abbey view but were well off the pace of scoring any points this week. Craig Taylor +2 with best over 45s score, earning two points and Matthew Perry +7 made up the matchplay pair's. Lisa Byrne +9 best ladies score took another point for Abbey View.
Clarke/Shutes gave away nothing in their match play beating Doonan/Selvarajah 4-0. Shave/Shrimpton overcame an early scare from Taylor/Perry to win 3-1. Final score 16-3 to Tea Green.

Little Hay vs Delapre

Little Hay captain Andrew Sharpe took 3rd place with -7 although enough to secure 2 points it's probably one of the worse scores the Little Hay skipper has recorded. Steve Bush and Nick Philpot took 3rd and 4th spot for Delapre, while Richard Gledhill paired up with the Little Hay captain and Chris Bushe & Gareth Cadmen took 3rd and 4th for the home team. Sharpey/Gledhill done enough to beat Pinto/Lewis however Bush/Philpot beat Bushe/Cadmen. Final score 10-5 to Delapre.
