🎅🏻 TEAM CHRISTMAS MEAL 🎅🏻On Friday night we had our Christmas meal for the team ( minus a couple of people 😔)This group are amazing- they’re not just a great bunch of coaches but more importantly they’re great people 😊It was a double celebration as it also happened to be coach Diana’s birthday 🥳Video shows a montage of pictures from the evening, with the coaches laughing at the dinner table whilst opening their secret Santa presents. The final photo shows coach Jon taking a selfie with the other team members around the table.

🚨 Can you help Coteford Infants save their Specialist Resource Provision? 🚨
We have worked at this school for many years and seen first hand the great work that is done for SEND children. Please support them by signing the petition and answering a few short questions. Thank you 🙏🏼

1. Sign the Petition

https://forms.office.com/Pages/ResponsePage.aspx?id=DQSIkWdsW0yxEjajBLZtrQAAAAAAAAAAAAZ__q_0goFUMFhRQjhEWTFQSUFPOFZEMFRCWk5VUk1UTC4u&origin=QRCode

2. Complete the LA's consultation questionnaire

https://www.hillingdon.gov.uk/coteford-infant-consultation

Coteford Infant School SRP Closure Proposal: Hillingdon Local Authority (LA) has proposed closing the Specialist Resource Provision (SRP) at Coteford Infant School, which has been providing essential support to children with physical disabilities for over 40 years.

Inclusive Environment: The SRP offers a nurturing and supportive environment where children with physical disabilities can thrive, receiving specialized care and education. This fosters a sense of belonging and inclusion within the mainstream school community, benefiting both SEND and non-SEND children alike.

LA Misinterpretation: The LA's claim that the SRP does not meet their new definition of a "traditional" SRP is a narrow and misguided interpretation. Coteford's SRP has a proven track record of successfully serving children with a wide range of physical needs, including Paralympians Natasha Baker and Andy Lapthorne

Impact on Children: Closing the SRP would have a devastating impact on the children it serves. It would force them into an overstretched and underfunded therapy system that cannot adequately meet their unique needs. This would significantly disrupt their education and well-being.

Community Support: Coteford urges the community to unite in support of the SRP. By raising awareness and advocating for its preservation, we can help ensure that children with physical disabilities continue to receive the vital support they need to reach their full potential.
