After a bit of a pause, we are delighted to be able to share that the Rickmansworth 5k Your Way is relaunching on Saturday 26th July – and we’d love for you to join us! 💙

We meet on the last Saturday of every month at Rickmansworth parkrun to walk, jog, run, cheer, or volunteer together. It’s all about community, support, and moving in a way that works for you.

Hi everyone,

Firstly, a big thank you to everyone who has participated in a 5K Your Way event over the passed few months. It has been brilliant to see you at our group meet ups. 💙

Sadly, our Rickmansworth group has been struggling recently with low numbers of participants and ambassadors being able to attend the events and after some careful thought and considerations we have taken the decision to put our group on hold throughout the summer (May-August).

It would be brilliant to see lots of you for one final Park Run before we pause for this break on the last Saturday of this month (April 27th)!

➡️ We are looking for your help! 🙌💙

In order to relaunch in September we would love to have your support to make sure our group can come back stronger than ever!

5K Your Way are a cancer support group with a difference! We are looking for new ambassadors, volunteers and participants who are passionate about exercise and would like to join us.

We are looking for:

➡️ Ambassadors/volunteers: Are you a cancer nurse, GP or patient advocate who would like to join our team of ambassadors?
What would be required of you?
- Participation in most 5K Your Way’s throughout the year (Parkrun on the last Saturday of the month)
- Promote 5K Your Way through distributing flyers, sharing on social media or spreading the word within your networks.

➡️ Participants: We encourage those living with and beyond cancer, friends, and those working in cancer services to do 5k in your own way whether that be walking, running, cheering or volunteering. There is a strong sense of connection and community in the group and we would love to welcome more people.
