The science speaks for itself…

Back in 2024, Dr Roberta Blake and Dr David Marlin of Animal Web conducted a mechanical horse study for Equiseat Aid.

The results were amazing, even on a mechanical horse. Even though the horse gave riders zero influence, the riders were still all asymmetrical. The riders were assessed in a number of a ways, and the results showed that all 5 riders symmetry improved significantly with the application of the Equiseat Aid!

Now, imagine how much more asymmetrical we might be with the addition of a live horse underneath us, and how much the Equiseat Aid could help!?

We’re excited to say that we also put that to the test in a 6 week live trial, and are blown away by the results! Who would be interested in seeing these results? We can’t to share them with you!🤩

“I know I’m not straight…”

It’s something we heard time and time again from riders at Scone and Burghley Horse Trials.

But if most of us already know we’re asymmetrical, why is it so difficult to actually change it? And could the way we sit be affecting more than just ourselves? 👀

Our latest blog explores rider asymmetry, movement patterns and why simply being told to “sit up straight” might not always be the answer.

I've been thinking about something recently that I think I really need to share...

When anyone comes to a demo or gets on our horse simulator they often feel embarrassed about being asymmetrical or talk badly about themselves because of it. But I think it's so important to be aware that this is not just a problem for a small proportion of people. It's not just a problem that beginners have, and it's certainly not just a problem that only people with injuries have. It's a HUMAN PROBLEM.

Whether you're a rider or not, we all have a dominant side and a weaker side - just like we are right or left handed - which is why when we ride we are naturally one sided. Whether our horses follow our pattern, or vice versa, we learn these habits and over time they become engrained.

It is not something to be ashamed of, because even the top riders have asymmetries too!

What we can do though, is rather than brushing it off as a problem that you live with, is to ask yourself "what are my asymmetries doing to impact my horse?" and "what can I do to improve them?".

We're often, as riders, very quick to look at our horses, try to address "their issues", and buy products for them. But, what if the way we are sitting on their backs could fix a lot of our horses problems? Would you start to think differently?

What if I told you that just 6 weeks of wearing the Equiseat Aid could improve your horses head and pelvic asymmetry by up to 30% in just 6 weeks? Then would you try it?

Well that's exactly what our latest live trial proved, as well as some other mind blowing figures!

If you want to improve for yourself AND your horse, there's a simple way to do that, with the Equiseat Aid.

Let us know if you have any questions and we will be happy to answer them.

August you’ve been busy 😅

It’s not until we look back at the photos we realise how many miles we’ve driven, how many demos we’ve given and how many places we’ve been… all within one month!

It’s been a rollercoaster, but one we could have only dreamed of at the beginning of the year! It’s completely surpassed our expectations.🥹

We’re so grateful to each and every one of you for the support. Whether you’ve invited us for a camp, bought an Equiseat aid, left a review, helped on our stand or even just liked one of our posts! As a small business, any bit of help is greatly appreciated and it doesn’t go unnoticed! 🫶🏻

Another busy month or two ahead, but we’re ready for it!

Next stop, Blenheim Horse Trials! 🐴

Georgia Atkin popped by our stand yesterday and shared her experience with the Equiseat Aid! 🫶🏻

Georgia has ridden to PSG level in dressage and has found her Equiseat Aid incredibly useful to stop her horses from blocking her, so she can get even bend on both reins!

After an initial 6 weeks of riding in it all the time, she now lives to use it to warm up to help remind her body, and her horses bodies, where they should be. 💪🏻
