The truth is, I shouldn't have to justify the price of my work.

As the saying goes:

🦁 "A lion never has to tell you it's a lion."

The value of handmade craftsmanship lies in the skill, experience, time and passion behind it.

Every keepsake I create involves:

• Hours of designing, casting, curing, sanding and polishing by hand
• Specialist materials and consumables
• Expensive equipment and ongoing maintenance
• Electricity and workshop costs
• Packaging and presentation materials
• Business overheads, insurance and platform fees
• Years of learning and perfecting my craft
• The responsibility of working with irreplaceable sentimental memories

What many people don't see is the time spent sourcing quality materials at the best possible prices so that I can keep my own prices affordable.

I've always believed that memorial keepsakes should be accessible to as many people as possible. That belief is one of the reasons I started this business, and I continue to work hard to keep my prices fair despite the ever-increasing cost of materials and running a small business.

When comparing my work with many other bespoke keepsake makers, you'll often find that my prices are significantly lower. That isn't because my work is worth less—it's because I've consciously chosen to keep my pricing as affordable as I reasonably can while still producing high-quality handmade pieces.

Every keepsake I create is made with care, patience and respect for the memories it represents.

I recently had the privilege of creating this beautiful keepsake collection using hair from a much-loved horse, including a framed horseshoe Tree of Life and matching horse hair bracelets.

What made this commission even more special was that it was created as a surprise gift, with members of the livery yard coming together to arrange a collection for the recipient. It was such a thoughtful gesture and a wonderful way to celebrate the bond between horse and owner.

Every piece was handcrafted with care to create lasting memories and a unique tribute to a very special horse. The Tree of Life symbolises strength, connection and the incredible bond we share with our horses, making it a meaningful keepsake to treasure for years to come.
