Joint 6th place out of 65 competitors in Lancashire with a brilliant 76 nett

Our very own Dan Lynch and Andy Wild played in the Lancs Amateur scratch foursomes today at Bolton Old Links.

A Tough day - with fast greens that were impossible to hold with 50/100 yard pitches!!!

The pair finished 7th in a very large field - very well done gents

🤩IT'S THAT TIME OF YEAR AGAIN🤩

That's right! We're only a few weeks away from the crown jewel of the RGC calendar - the coveted Captain's Final Weekend!

Our Captain, Steven Holmes, invites all to attend across the weekend to watch some fierce competition out on the course from our 91 qualifiers who had a brilliant score of +7 or better😮‍💨

Over the weekend expect to see a live leaderboard in the clubhouse, along with it being accessible wherever you on your mobile! 🏌️

Along with that, we'll be showing the first tee shots on Saturday of all players, the hospitality team will have the barbecue running all weekend long, with the bar well stocked with plenty of refreshments, whatever your tipple is!🍻

And then there's the presentation, Captain's Raffle in support of our chosen charity for the year - Springhill Hospice - more details on that later today, and then the evening party to look forward to🕺💃

So grab your family and friends and run, not walk, to RGC this August Bank Holiday weekend🙌
