You’re invited to join in the fun & travel by luxury coach on Tuesday, June 2nd, on

Milnrow and Newhey Horticultural and Allotment Society’s

annual trip to

RHS Harlow Carr and Harrogate town centre

before returning to Milnrow

All this for £20

The trip is for society members only, but membership is only £3 extra.

Becoming a member entitles you to shop for garden necessities and plants to your heart’s content from our Hub every Sunday (March to October), and whilst there, you can have a brew and biscuits (good ones, not just ‘bourbons’). We organise members’ talks and have demonstrations from committee members, most notably “Neville’s Surgeries” where our resident Horticulturist & Arborist, Neville, holds court to teach many aspects of gardening.

Why not come visit us in the hub behind Milnrow library, off Sheriff Street or DM the Society’s page, and we can give you more information.

Alternatively, ring Duncan on 07814 238227

This is what happens when Reform put up a candidate from Heywood who knows nothing about Littleborough.

We know that residents want Littleborough to thrive. The URC was at risk of closure, becoming derelict or sold off for flats. Local Labour Councillors stepped in to save the building and are now developing plans with our community to turn it into an arts centre for all, as well as keeping the building as a place of worship.

On Thursday, a vote for Reform is a vote for someone who knows nothing about our area, and would actively try to have parts of our centre rotting.

Astonishing that Reform are against public investment in Littleborough and against keeping a church open while refurbishing it to function as an arts centre too.

Thursday is a clear choice between this Reform candidate from Heywood and Labour’s Janet Emsley who has lived and worked here all her life - as a teacher, now as Mayor, helping local kids, residents, charities and veterans.
