🎸🥁🎤Headline Highlights 🎸🥁🎤

With just under a month to go until we take over Intra high street for a festival stacked full of Medway-made music, street food, arts, and experiences, we thought we’d spotlight some of the amazing talent we have lined up!
A mix of young upstarts making waves at home in the towns and abroad, and longstanding legends of our Medway music scene.

The Zac Schulze Gang
Formed in Gillingham (south-east UK) in 2020, The Zac Schulze Gang are an electrifying blues-rock trio built on the playing of front man Zac Schulze, joined by bassist Ant Greenwell and drummer Ben Schulze. The gang create their signature sound by blending rock and blues with influences from punk, funk, country, jazz, soul, metal and pop.”

Lupen Crook
DIY Provocateur, teller of twisted folk tales and outsider artist.
"Too weird for the folk fans, too folk for the urchins, the lone wolf at the back of the pack" - NME

The Singing Loins
Players of original Medway based folk songs through a nasty punk rock noise filter.

Theatre Royal
Markedly Medway Anthemic Indie Rock
“The thrilling sound of the Medway Towns." - Steve Lamacq

The Solarflares
“Former Prisoners / Prime Movers cohorts The Solarflares have further distilled the myriad pleasures of hard-edged, soulful 60s beat-psych, powerhouse guitar/organ instrumentals, and world class riffage into a classy package.” - Damaged Goods Records

As parents ourselves, we know how hard it can be to find something to do at the weekend that genuinely works for the whole family. That’s exactly why we created Sun Pier Sounds – Family Show.

It’s a relaxed Saturday afternoon where younger ones can safely roam, colour, read books and just be themselves, while you get to enjoy a proper grown-up moment, a drink in hand, live music from brilliant local artists, and maybe even a little nostalgia for your wilder days...

We’ve always wanted Sun Pier House to feel welcoming for everyone, and these afternoons are some of our favourites, chilled, friendly, and full of good music and good people.

Saturday 23rd May, café open from 10am live music from 2.30pm.
