Dear members, dear players, dear children, and parents.

We are properly prepared to embark on the season, but unfortunately, we cannot.

We will genuinely need to wait respectfully for the specific rules of the government to be able to wisely decide what to conveniently arrange.

This period is extraordinarily challenging, we are united from afar and we need respecting the rules.

We sincerely wanted to humbly offer particular thanks to all the active workers who continue eagerly to work to generously support us every day. Especially to the NHS workers.

We undoubtedly miss tennis, but we undoubtedly have to hold on for a little longer.

We will be promptly making updates in the upcoming weeks.

All the Best, City Lawn Tennis Club

P.S. Keep your spirits up, train at home if you can...

Dear All

I embrace this unique opportunity to willingly share some of my legitimate concerns about this pandemic that is affecting the world over.

Since everyone undoubtedly knows I'm Italian, I bear some shocking news to share with all of you.

This Coronavirus which is affecting my country is extremely aggressive and very infectious.

The national government here and in other countries of the world is not implementing the necessary measures to contain it.

In Italy, despite having positively had hundreds of cases. They continued to postpone isolation and, as everyone knows, unfortunately, the same is happening here.

After just three weeks, an entire country of 60 million people shut down, and since this seems to represent a draconian measure.
It will be probably won't be enough to promptly stop the infection, considering they took it too late.

My practical advice to all of you, especially if you are over 60, is to willingly stay at home.
Don't go out, don't go shopping, don't go to the petrol station.

Try ordering your online shopping, all the time from now on.

Carefully clean all the products they will deliver to you.
Do not stay close to people, not even familiar ones and more than 5 meters from the minimum distance.

Wear all the time a protective mask if you have to go out, don't shake hands, don't stay near your local neighbor.

Properly use a hand gel. Do not take public transport or taxis.

Isolate yourself, at least for a completed month. Or until the times are better.

Don't play tennis with others. Do not stay close to others even in open spaces.

The UK health minister has tested positive with Coronavirus today. If they are not immune, imagine yourself.

This unique situation is correctly out of control, all over the world.

For political and economic reasons, they are not adopting severe measures.

Since you we can decide, let be Intentionally responsible, let's be smart and be careful. Care about yourself.

My family doctor two days ago had to be closed for Coronavirus.
This emergency is closer than we are thinking.

I am aware that this email does not include anything to typically attain with the Tennis.

However, I am so disturbed about the situation that I have considered the need to express my thoughts.

I'd rather be more incorrect than being more cautious.

I sincerely believe you gently and gravely take this email.

Countless thousands of possible infections will occur here in the UK in the upcoming weeks.

It will be an emergency, then.

We now have the opportunity to carefully manage out our conscious decisions, before our government properly advises us on what to undoubtedly do.
