Luke Jenkins, quietly goes about establishing himself as a top class golfer. Competing as an amateur on the Clutch Pro Golf Tour. In the Tier 1 event at Slaley Hall. He came in third with a 69-70-72 (6 under par. )

Luke Jenkins produced a stunning finish to claim the Clutch Pro Tour title at Whittlebury Park, the young amateur closing with back-to-back birdies on the 17th and 18th to force a playoff with Jamie Dick, before getting the better of him in sudden death.
Jenkins had been the model of consistency all week, making just two bogeys across the entire tournament, but it was his composure down the closing stretch that will live longest in the memory. With the pressure of the tour title on the line, he birdied his last two holes to post a second-round 68 and finish on 11-under 133, hauling himself level with the clubhouse leader and setting up a playoff for the trophy.
Waiting for him was Jamie Dick, who had produced a sensational final round of his own. A 64 including six birdies and an eagle saw Dick surge into contention and match Jenkins’s total of 11-under 133, after an opening 69. It set up a gripping finish between two players in outstanding form, with nothing to separate them after 36 holes.
The playoff itself proved every bit as tense as the golf that preceded it, but it was Jenkins who held his nerve to complete a remarkable week and lift the trophy as an amateur. As a non-professional, Jenkins was not entitled to prize money, meaning Dick’s runner-up finish was rewarded as the top professional in the field, collecting a tour-leading £2,383.33.
But the day, and the headlines, belonged to Jenkins. A bogey-free run of form down the stretch, two clutch birdies to force a playoff, and the nerve to beat a red-hot Jamie Dick in sudden death made it a breakthrough week for the young amateur at Whittlebury Park.
