CHARITY DAY 2026!

Join us from 12pm at Sherwood as this coming Sunday sees us host our 3rd annual Charity Day!! We will be hosting The Metronomes CC and joining forces to raise vital funds for The National Autistic Society.

There will be many ways to contribute to the charity through the day including a BBQ, Cricket themed bingo, bus stops and more so bring cash and card as both will be needed!

We cannot wait to see and welcome you all to create a day of memories and fundraising! 💜

THE WEEKEND IS HERE!! 🤩

So now that England have won their game it’s time for some really cricket and you’ll find it here at Sherwood this weekend!! 🥳

The 1st XI take a short trip to Holcombe & Blue Bell Hill CC with the win and 20 points as their objective! 💪🏻

The 2nd XI host Ebbsfleet CC and aim to build on last weeks win with another one! 🤞🏻

The 3rd XI are at The Alps where they’ll face off against High Halstow CC! 💪🏻

THE SCORES OF LAST WEEK! 👀

Last week was a tough one only seeing 1 of 3 league sides bring home the win and no Sunday game either. Here’s how they went

The 1s put up a good effort in the field and with the ball but fell just short with the bat against Hawkinge. Positives though as the fielding was great and Allrounder James Beech with the best figures across the WHOLE of Division 7!! Well bowled Beechy!

The 2s set Swanscombe & Greenhithe CC a target of 198 with a standout knock of 45 from Rhys Richards! A mature and calm innings helped us reach a defendable total and ultimately winning the game!

The 3s faced off against Egerton CC were they fell just short of where they wanted to be with the bat and which was ultimately chased down however another great and mature knock from the youngster Amran Yadav was the standout!

With our current sponsorship deal with Henry Schein coming to an end, we are now looking for a new company to be our front of shirt sponsor. If you are interested or know anyone that would be interested in this great opportunity please get in contact.

AROUND THE CLUB 👀

This Saturday sees The SCC famous Race night take place for another year!! after all the cricket get back to the club and get ready to play for all the marbles and see if you can choose the right horses! everyone welcome! 🐎

Next Sunday (30th August) is our annual Charity Day! We will be joining forces with our friends The Metronomes CC in aim to raise big money for the National Autistic Society. The 2nd XI are back at The SCG as they welcome Swanscombe & Greenhithe CC and are aiming to bounce back after last weeks defeat and keep the points at home! 🤞🏻

The 3rd XI visit Egerton CC and are looking to back last weeks incredible win at home and make it 2 wins from 2! 🤩

Last weekend saw all 3 league sides in action! It was a successful weekend for most with a little sadness sprinkled in there too…

The 1st XI hosted Westgate-On-Sea CC where they kept all the points at home with a W👏🏻

The 2nd XI travelled to Gravesend CC where on a rather questionable pitch and even an even more questionable outfield they felt just short of the total set☹️

The 3rd XI hosted Minster CC at The Alps in what was an incredible performance from all involved and resulting in a MASSIVE win!! 🤩

NOTHIN’ BUT LEAGUE! 💥

It’s Friday, it’s the weekend and it’s time for Cricket!! 🤩

The 1st XI are at home where they’ll be hosting Westgate-On-Sea CC and will be looking to keep the win and all 20 points at home 💪🏻
