Happy Christmas! We hope that you're keeping well and safe. The Crafty Goose has been in hibernation this year. We have missed teaching our courses. We will be back when it's safe to do so. Keep crafting! Xx

The complete set of hand-crafted mallets. A wonderful addition to our workshop.

I was wondering what was being crafted in the workshop the other day? Then this Iron bound Mallet with Oak head and Rhododendron handle appeared. There are more to follow!

Now this is a useful gift! Thank you Sam for my hook stick. I might be small, but I can reach!

This mornings thought... I love seeing our shadow board in our workshop. It's made up of tools that belonged to my Dad, my Grandpa (who was a carpenter, Sam would have got on so well with him), many carpenter's that we never got to meet and now they are lovingly looked after and used by us.

The tools on their own do nothing, but in the hands of a patient (willing to learn) person, they can help create what's in the imagination.

I had my first Blacksmithing course with Sam. I am so proud of what I made, this lovely little hook!

Our diary covers are coming along nicely. The floral pattern is inspired by William Morris Acanthus.

Happy Easter! We hope you're all safe and well! Today these lovely bird feeder hangers flew out of the forge.

Sam has been building a bass and it's looking wonderful. Can't wait to see it finished :) It's made from Olive Ash, Walnut and Maple. The fret board also has orange lights behind the fret markers.
