MUBASHAR ALI EXTENDS WITH HOLCOMBE 🔴⚫

We’re delighted to announce that Mubashar Ali (📲 Mubashar Ali ) has extended his contract with Holcombe Hockey Club.

A Pakistan international, Mubashar brings serious pedigree, pace, and power to our defensive unit. A world-class defender with an explosive engine and one of the most feared drag flicks in the game, he is a player who can change a match at both ends of the pitch.

MIKEY SIGNS CONTRACT EXTENSION 🔴⚫

We’re delighted to announce that Mikey Royden-Turner (📲 Michael Royden-Turner ) has signed a contract extension with Holcombe Hockey Club.

It has been an outstanding period of progression for Mikey. After being named England Men’s Young Player of the Season, he recently went on to earn his first senior England cap... a fantastic achievement and a testament to the hard work, commitment, and development he has shown during his time at Holcombe.

We’re incredibly proud to have played a part in Mikey’s journey so far and believe he has huge potential to go even further.

We’re thrilled to continue supporting his development and look forward to seeing what the future holds.

We are delighted to welcome goalkeeper Stan Cooke (📲 Stan Cooke ) to Holcombe Hockey Club. !

Stan is ready to get involved:

Jennie Hoyte: England W50s Captain, flag bearer, and tournament top scorer (6 goals)! Took home a brilliant SILVER 🥈 after a nail-biting final against Argentina.

Lara Dickens: World Champion! Grabbed GOLD 🥇 with the England W50s B squad after a decisive final win over Argentina.

Karen Drake: Represented the W45s Alliance, showcasing incredible international spirit in a squad drawn from seven nations.

We have an absolutely packed schedule lined up at the club on Saturday 27th June 2026, and you won’t want to miss a single minute of it. From top-tier hockey to live music and World Cup football, we’ve got your whole Saturday sorted!

🏑 International Masters Hockey: The Men’s Over 55s tournament gets underway with action-packed push-backs at 11:00 and 17:00.

☀️ Holcombe Summer League: The local summer hockey action keeps the pitches busy with games at 13:00 and 15:00.

🎸 Live Music - Phoenix Fires: Once the hockey wraps up, the party starts! Phoenix Fires will be live in the clubhouse from 19:00. Make sure to book your tickets via Teamo! 🎟️

⚽ World Cup Football (Panama vs England): Settle in at the bar and cheer on England as they take on Panama, kicking off at 22:00. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

The bar will be open and the atmosphere will be electric all day long. Bring your friends, bring your family, and let’s make a proper day of it at the club! 🍻👏
