✨ We’re very excited to welcome two new teachers to TVSD, both starting today!

🩰 **Sally – Ballet Conditioning**
**Juniors:** 4:00–5:00pm
**Seniors:** 5:00–6:00pm

Sally brings a wealth of experience from across the dance and wellbeing industries. With a strong ballet background, she trained at ballet school before going on to run her own dance school and now teaches yoga throughout Hampshire.

⭐ **Grace – Senior Commercial**
**8:00–9:00pm**

Grace is currently studying at Wilkes Academy and also dances with Kimberly Wyatt. She is a fantastic performer with a real passion for commercial dance and will bring fresh, current training and experience to our senior students.

We’re delighted to have Sally and Grace joining the TVSD teaching team and can’t wait for the students to get started with them today! 💜

✨ 𝗙𝗹𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆 ✨

Looking back at rehearsals for our 2025 show, 𝘚𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘮 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘚𝘵𝘢𝘨𝘦, and one of those lovely moments that says so much about our students.

Without being asked, the girls formed their own little production line to help fasten one another’s costumes! It was such a simple but wonderful display of their initiative, teamwork and kindness.

They never fail to amaze us—not only with their talent and creativity, but with the care and encouragement they show one another behind the scenes. 💕

What a fantastic time our students had at Sunday’s workshop with Al Knott, formerly Greaseball in Starlight Express! 🌟

It was wonderful to see everyone learning, challenging themselves and enjoying the opportunity to work with a guest industry professional.

And this is only the beginning…

This year, we’re planning an exciting programme of workshops covering a range of skills and styles. We hope to offer at least one workshop every half term—and, where possible, something nearly every month.

We’re currently finalising the details of an acro pad workshop, with lots more exciting opportunities to follow.

Our aim is to help students develop their skills, experience different teaching styles and learn from some brilliant guest teachers.

We can’t wait to share what’s coming next. Keep an eye on our page for future workshop announcements and booking details! ✨

Today we’re celebrating 13 years of Test Valley School of Dance! 💜🩰

Thirteen years of pointed toes, noisy tap shoes, brave first steps and friendships that last well beyond the studio.

To every dancer, family and teacher who has been part of our story — thank you for making TVSD what it is. We wouldn’t be us without you! ✨

💛 𝗙𝗹𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆 💛

A look back at our 2025 Big Yellow Fundraiser, when we filled our timetable with fun, yellow-themed classes!

Our senior ballet students learned a variation from Coppélia—complete with colourful fans and plenty of personality. Some of these beautiful students have since left us and moved on to college, making memories like this even more special to look back on.

What a fabulous class, a wonderful day and a lovely reminder of the girls who have been such an important part of our school. 🩰✨
