Kentford Farm Stud & Foaling Service Long established stud farm. Services include foaling, weaning, AI, full and grass livery, rehabilitation and retirement.

We pride ourselves in running a friendly stud and livery farm offering over 20 years of experience in all areas of foaling, rehabilitation and livery. We have worked with racing yards, five star event riders, international show jumpers, international dressage progeny. Large foaling boxes with CCTV monitoring. Restrictive rehabilitation barns and paddocks. Kentford is set in over 200 acres of pasture and woodland offering horses a tranquil environment.

Something different at Kentford Farm this weekend! We hosted a Working Equitation clinic with trainer Sharlotte Hughes. Our group ridden session featured 3 feisty coloured mares and their riders - apart from a few ‘moments’ all the horse and rider combinations did a fantastic job! Great progress was made and we’re looking forward to the next clinic!

Congratulations to Alison Jenden and Totil Diamond Jubilee (Lizzie) on winning the Intermediate 1 Silver class at the Area Festival at Sparsholt this weekend. Lizzie was bred by Mike and Caroline at Kentford, and is by the famous dressage stallion Totilas. Alison has trained Lizzie from a youngster and has done a fantastic job with her. We look forward to seeing them out competing at Grand Prix. 🙂

We took some time out to enjoy the solar eclipse .... Between us we had a colander with paper, a pin hole camera and a pair of eclise glasses.

It was extra special sharing it with the horses, dogs and friends

Two of our liveries went off to dressage camp last weekend ..... The horses were superb and there was lots of learning alongside the socialising.

It's great to see our liveries out enjoying their horses and having fun. Keep an eye on the page to see what else they get up to this summer!

It's been a while since we've posted ..... We've been busy getting ready to welcome our local Pony Club for their Mini camp rally.

The children, their ponies and parents had a wonderful weekend of pole work, gymkhana games, hacking, fancy dress and general horsey fun!

There were some very impressive heights cleared by the two legged participants in a chase me Charlie style competition.

It was wonderful to see the future generation enjoying their ponies and supporting one another. They were a delight to host.

We have permission to share a photo of one of liveries dressed and ready for the fancy dress! We think they look great 🎉🎉

The hot days have led to early starts to get the ridden horses exercised before the heat of the day.

It's a beautiful start to the day with the sun coming up and the birds awakening ..... We've been lucky enough to catch the resident deer on a number of occasions too.
